As someone with a hard edged mother I found it really hard to get along with her growing up. when i came back to the house after uni i realised that those times where i thought she was being rude or agressive, it was just the way she spoke. Noticing that i was able to hold a conversation with her without feeling like shes belittling me and I've been able to pass that to my siblings and it's honestly lifted the whole family dynamic. What kills me the most is I lost my mother when I was 19 years old. I’m 52 years old. I had to raise myself as a woman. I had to learn how to be a mother by myself as a woman my mom was my best friend I would give any part of my bod just to have her back. but I know that will never happen. Get some counseling fix your relationship because I’m telling you when your mother is gone she is gone there’s no coming back. Watching things like this breaks my heart because there are days that I feel like I was robbed I only had 19 years.

I've noticed on MOST of the shows, the CHILD gets empathy and the PARENT gets (subliminally) accused of being a bad parent in so many ways! When a child has thought about and decided to act out on what they're upset about, they've already decided to blame someone else (the present active parent) for their actions and Claim Victim so everybody can feel sorry for them and think BAD of the "ACTIVE" parent that's done ALL they can to support them! It's NOT one sided! Both make mistakes and that needs to be addressed appropriately! P.E.R.I.O.D‼️
