The only reason Bowser even failed was because he was standing on a literal giant pow-block thinking he wouldn't get blown up into the sky. Other than that, Super Mario 3D World is a genuinely good game, and I'd suggest it to other new players!

Skyward_Strike 3d world is linear and repetitive, it feels like nintendo gave up half way through when they realised the wiiu was failing and left it unpolished. the same with 3d land but that is excusable as its on a handheld and nintendo were experimenting however there was no need to experiment again with wiiu's 3d mario.

While not the best, this is probably the most creative bowser fight to date. The bit at 5:08 specifically where bowser uses the double cherry in particular is so goddamn cool and it’s executed in such a charming way.
Gonna state what many other people have done before me: 1. Bowser tower = striking resemblance to Biff Tannen´s in Back to the Future II 2. So. Fucking. Epic.
Oh this isn't REALLY what the Wii U is capable of. I mean, it gives you a nice taste of smooth and crisp Wii U visuals, but Mario Kart 8 is a much better looking game. Have a look. That game from Monolith simply titled "X" is also a nice looking game.

It also has to do with the fact that they didn't even make the console that compelling to the general public because of its lackluster software library for some time, and the people that do know about it aren't sold on this gimmick. It also has to do with the fact that the library doesn't differentiate itself much from the 3DS library. I'm sorry, Super Mario 3D World may be a quality game, but is that really going to make someone who owns the 3DS game buy it again? Yes, there are more gimmicks per level that seem creative, but at the end of the day, it's the same thing. It has prettier levels with different backgrounds and some new enemies and a new power up, but what is the game all about at its core? Going from one point and running to a flagpole. That's ALL you're doing. (Which is funny when people tell me that these games have more variety than Super Mario 64, I say MY ASS it does, Mario 64 and Sunshine don't involve you just going from point A to point B, there are other gameplay ideas mixed in there that involve *exploration*) But it also has to do with the fact that there really isn't much… excitement for the Wii U. None of the games they've released have generated much excitement. Even the GameCube felt exciting because what they were doing with the software at the time was genuinely new. GameCube has a lot of niche titles that appeal to different fan bases and were system sellers for those people. Want a system with a Metroid game? Great, GameCube has two solid ones. Want a system with a Mario game? Super Mario Sunshine is a solid 3D Mario. Want a system with a Zelda? Great, this one has two of them. Star Fox? Two of those. F-Zero? Covered. A Mario RPG game? Covered. Some mature content? Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness come to mind. Mario Kart? Best one in the series is on this system. New IP from Miyamoto (at least it was at the time)? Pikmin! What does the Wii U have to compete with this? Absolutely nothing. The niche titles are coming this year, like X, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, and then others with unannounced release dates like the new Zelda, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, Yarn Yoshi, etc. And there are a lot of other issues with it, too, like how it's confusing as hell to even explain, the vision of the Wii U is very spotty and isn't clear at all, one needs to have all the right controllers and accessories (which don't come standard with the system, obviously) to have an ideal experience, and a special battery to actually make the Wii U GamePad's battery life bearable. The general consumer does not want to deal with this. HOWEVER, they only lost a *fraction* of what they own in the bank because of Wii U. They could post $200 million losses for decades and not go bankrupt. Saying that they're somehow in trouble because of Wii U's issues (which, they're no longer selling it at a loss now, so they won't lose money off of it anymore) is just talking out of your ass. Do some research first.
I can not express how much I truly loved this game! This level, was one of my favorites! The music, the theme park was amazing! I wished they had Bowser’s children in it as well! That would have made it pop!

I like how Bowser doesn’t just consume the power up like Mario does, he attaches it to his body so that way he can keep its abilities and lose them after being hit unlike his arch enemy, Bowser actually being really smart is another reason why I like him more than Mario
I sincerely hope Nintendo brings back the Double Cherry and does more with it in a future installment, because as soon as I heard that sound during this Bowser fight, all I could think was, "Oh shit." That was totally epic, and I'd love to have another face-off with dozens of Bowsers someday.
Super Mario 3D World is my favorite game, but there’s just one problem: In the final battle. There were so many of Bowser. Until they got to the top of the tower, I couldn’t find the real bowser.

3D World is far and away the prettiest Mario game. Hopefully Odyssey 2 gets a better art direction.

While not the best, this is probably the most creative bowser fight to date. The bit at 5:08 specifically where bowser uses the double cherry in particular is so goddamn cool and it’s executed in such a charming way.

Oh this isn't REALLY what the Wii U is capable of. I mean, it gives you a nice taste of smooth and crisp Wii U visuals, but Mario Kart 8 is a much better looking game. Have a look. That game from Monolith simply titled "X" is also a nice looking game.

but Nintendo lost a whole lot of money with the Wii u because they never advertised it much. It also suffers from horrible 3rd party games and very few good games what so ever.I still know some people who think that all the Wii u is is an add on to the original Wii.
Nick Seminatore The Wii U issue is MUCH more complex than just its advertising (or lack thereof). It also has to do with the fact that they didn't even make the console that compelling to the general public because of its lackluster software library for some time, and the people that do know about it aren't sold on this gimmick.
It also has to do with the fact that the library doesn't differentiate itself much from the 3DS library. I'm sorry, Super Mario 3D World may be a quality game, but is that really going to make someone who owns the 3DS game buy it again? Yes, there are more gimmicks per level that seem creative, but at the end of the day, it's the same thing. It has prettier levels with different backgrounds and some new enemies and a new power up, but what is the game all about at its core? Going from one point and running to a flagpole. That's ALL you're doing. (Which is funny when people tell me that these games have more variety than Super Mario 64, I say MY ASS it does, Mario 64 and Sunshine don't involve you just going from point A to point B, there are other gameplay ideas mixed in there that involve *exploration*)
But it also has to do with the fact that there really isn't much… excitement for the Wii U. None of the games they've released have generated much excitement. Even the GameCube felt exciting because what they were doing with the software at the time was genuinely new. GameCube has a lot of niche titles that appeal to different fan bases and were system sellers for those people. Want a system with a Metroid game? Great, GameCube has two solid ones. Want a system with a Mario game? Super Mario Sunshine is a solid 3D Mario. Want a system with a Zelda? Great, this one has two of them. Star Fox? Two of those. F-Zero? Covered. A Mario RPG game? Covered. Some mature content? Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness come to mind. Mario Kart? Best one in the series is on this system. New IP from Miyamoto (at least it was at the time)? Pikmin! What does the Wii U have to compete with this? Absolutely nothing. The niche titles are coming this year, like X, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, and then others with unannounced release dates like the new Zelda, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, Yarn Yoshi, etc.
And there are a lot of other issues with it, too, like how it's confusing as hell to even explain, the vision of the Wii U is very spotty and isn't clear at all, one needs to have all the right controllers and accessories (which don't come standard with the system, obviously) to have an ideal experience, and a special battery to actually make the Wii U GamePad's battery life bearable. The general consumer does not want to deal with this.
HOWEVER, they only lost a *fraction* of what they own in the bank because of Wii U. They could post $200 million losses for decades and not go bankrupt. Saying that they're somehow in trouble because of Wii U's issues (which, they're no longer selling it at a loss now, so they won't lose money off of it anymore) is just talking out of your ass. Do some research first.

I can not express how much I truly loved this game! This level, was one of my favorites! The music, the theme park was amazing! I wished they had Bowser’s children in it as well! That would have made it pop!

I like how Bowser doesn’t just consume the power up like Mario does, he attaches it to his body so that way he can keep its abilities and lose them after being hit unlike his arch enemy, Bowser actually being really smart is another reason why I like him more than Mario

I sincerely hope Nintendo brings back the Double Cherry and does more with it in a future installment, because as soon as I heard that sound during this Bowser fight, all I could think was, "Oh shit." That was totally epic, and I'd love to have another face-off with dozens of Bowsers someday.
Super Mario 3D World is my favorite game, but there’s just one problem: In the final battle. There were so many of Bowser. Until they got to the top of the tower, I couldn’t find the real bowser.
