Well we are right on the edge of 1,000 subscribers, and I can't think of a better video to hopefully cross that threshold than one that has a big swimbait catch in it. The KGB Crappie has been on my list of wanted swimbaits for awhile now and I managed to snag one on a recent drop. I took it out for the first time and had two bites, one landing a Georgia Angler Award length shoal bass. Maybe that means this thing has some good mojo already.
Thanks for checking out the video, hope you stick around.
The KGB crappie I got floats.. was there a SS version too?
Mine is 100% a SS, I would even argue slightly fast than typical slow sink, water temps will vary it slightly though, I’ll have to check my order to see if it specified SS or not. I thought all of the crappies were by default.
What gear ratio reel do you use for that I have that and it rolls I’ve tried the tranx 5.8 and higher gear ratio
7.2:1 which I think is good for river current but is a little fast for most swims overall, but I’d rather reel slow than fast to adjust.
I’m a Georgia resident myself and make some big soft plastic swimbaits that I would love to send you to test as long as you would be interested! Just reply and let me know and we can work something out, thank you for your time.
That’d be awesome, I’d love to. I need to fish more soft swims, especially with fall coming up.
Hey Sam, I too live in Georgia ( Macon ) I would love to test those swimbaits for you, I fish for several types of Bass in my area and I would love to give your lures a valid evaluation !
@@certifieddinks3943do you have a instagram or something I could reach out to?
