I think your video is what I needed to find. I’ve been racking my brain on which profile to use and how to color correct but I was thinking at the same time I like how the Scenic profile looks just straight out of the camera. Thanks buddy!
I've watched a few of your videos, I really like your style of explaining things. Keep up the awesome work! Cameras & Coffee added to my subscriptions!
Thank you for this great video. The colors seem to be more cinematic in Cinelike-D but definitely it looks better the scene of your video in Natural profile. For some reason the taking head in Natural profile seems more focused and outstanding (more separated from the background). In the Cinelike-D profile, the talking head seems more integrated in the frame and less the hero of the scene.
CineLike -D with all the settings set to -5 gave me the worst image from my lumix G9, even after color correcting. The standard profile works for me, although it seems to blow out the highlights on video. I've set my Highlight and Shadow curve to highlight -2 and we'll see how that works.
Natural looked better, but if the entire video would have been in cine-d I’m would have thought it looked okay. But to see the side by side really shows it. We do spend way too much time overthinking this. Definitely like how your driving into the options and checking things out.
Hello! Thank you for explaining this. This really helped me make a final choice. Do you have any specific settings that you personally set when you're shooting in natural profile for contrast, sharpness, NR, Saturation, Hue? Or do you just keep everything as is? I like the way your video look.
Damn, I wish I could dial down to -11. Bummer. Totally agree with this video. And like 709 is nice. Having said that, I must now try the two cinelike options just to see what happens.... By the way, what do you reckon the best settings are for capturing motion like a dancer?
Hi! I have a lumix GX80, as you know this camera does not have Cinema Like D, but if you do a "hack" it can. Like many, I saw a tutorial on internet and I did it. I don't know if it's because I did it wrong, but my "Cinema D" looks awful, even worse if it goes down to -5. I suppose it is not very smart to play with the camera software in that way, but the natural profile gives me a beautiful result and I do not think at the moment I need Cine D or Cine V; I don't know maybe it's not my league. Greetings from Peru

Nice video - simply and focus on the topic. I really like how you recorded your voice. Which microphone and recorder did you use? Sounds awesome!

I really enjoy your videos, even though I am a fan of 4K uploads.

Another view, I like that, as well as the "Natural" setting. Thanks.
I really liked the audio, you can share what equipment you used

Cameras and Coffee Thank You! I will give this a try. Your video looked really good
I forgot to ask do you color grade with those settings? Or do you leave everything as is?
Cameras and Coffee Will those Sigma lens work on the GH5? I was on Amazon and it say for use with Sony.
jejeje i love this video. Thank you.
Awesome video and great points
This video make my day, thank you sr
i think negative is still an effect, just pre-compression, but i’d rather keep it all off (at 0)
So what settings would you suggest for a natural profile? All at O

Alongside the Natural profile is there a Neutral profile on the GH5s
@@camerasandcoffee3466 Yes it was thanks
Great video! Did you modify cinelikeD? It looks less sharp than natural. I think natural looks better
I do feel like we're having a coffee together. Good thoughts.
Should have tried Cine V as well, my favorite. Don't dig you in Cine D profile at all. Natural way better for this scene IMO.
Hey check out Nolan Gunns demo of cine D vs natural - really depends on what look your after
nice work!
Love it 😂
😂😂😂👌
