Oh Brian, hearing your children cheer that daddy's home was so heartwarming. Those are nice containers. It will be nice to see what's next with them. Thanks for sharing.
Thx for this video. You are getting better at this YT stuff and the more you do it, the easier (and more comfortable) it will be. Keep pumping it out ….even if it seems to be short or small stuff, it adds up to tell a bigger story.
The children were happy that Daddy was home! Great stuff. That's a nice shipping container, BTW. You lined those containers up perfect. Amazing what one can do when they have the equipment to do the job. 👍👍
Nice containers. Never knew some were only used on a 1 way trip... Thanks for taking us on a road trip. Sure is nice to hear you welcomed home. Also from Mn, land of no winter for the 2nd year! I want snow!!!!!!
@@timl3605 thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Lucked out and got 3 out of the 6 that were being auctioned off… with a manufactured date of 10/24! Are you supposed to get any snow from the storm coming from the west over the next few days? They say we are here in NC but I’m doubtful.
Great that you found almost new shipping containers, looking forward to seeing how you trick them out. Glad you made it there and back home safely Brian.
Those container shops are really nice!! You can raise the roof as well by applying pony walls on top of the containers if you want/need. If you get the vaulted roof you don’t need to raise the walls necessarily. Easy to do in stages as well. We have one as a clubhouse in the mountains wher we go off-road & we cut into the side walls of a couple and put big doors that open vertically, hinged at the top, with hydraulic assists on them. Works great. They can have a gravel floor, asphalt or concrete. Soo many options!! Very cool!! Yours are sooo much nicer though. We had to do some patching & welding to get ours back to watertight & rodent proof! 😂😂.
@@C10sRule sounds nice! I’d like to put in pony walls but want to use all metal so I’m looking at metal carports to mount on top and make work somehow. Then add gravel in the middle. Lots of options!
Good job, I plan on getting a container sometime too, but I’ll end up having it delivered and the geese landing were cool thanks for the updates Ray from Oregon
@@williamd6967 sounds awesome! I’m going to spread them out on a gravel pad and mount a metal carport on top, with shorter sidewalls, to gain additional height to be able to park equipment under. The best part is that it’s not a permanent structure.

@@jimbrewer2893 yes, that and there were quite a few other issues with it.. wheel bearings loose, leaf spring bushings MIA and the brakes didn’t work… needless to say, I will not be renting that trailer again.
@@silverlicious2086 all three were about 11k after auction fees (which are 15%), taxes and transportation expenses. I was happy to pay that because they are 2024 models with composite flooring, they all matched and were in excellent condition. Typically one time use containers in similar condition, in this area, are a minimum of 5-6k/ea.
Who woulda thought that you would be closing in on 10,000 subscribers,. A lot of interest in you "little Ponds". Great job. Ben from Minnesota, USA
Thanks! Now if everyone that watched would like, comment and subscribe we’d be in business!
Very nice. A little girl was very happy to see her daddy made it home!

Nice work moving them even with the tire. Low was 38 F yesterday, Wife was saying it's cold. Spoiled yep.
Blimey I didn’t know that was possible with a twin axle trailer and a pickup truck. Then you lifted it up with your skid steer just brilliant 🤗👏

They look very clean. I have no idea what these containers cost. You said auction. Do you mind sharing what you paid for the three?

Sounds like you got a very good deal. Plus the value they bring by extending the life of the other stuff your storing out of the weather.
What is the intended use for 3 of these?
Just a place to store "stuff"?
Basically, just a place to keep attachments and smaller equipment out of the weather. Didn't want to build anything permanent quite yet.
I'm told 14K on an excavator is a ton but seems in good shape yet!!
