    Yer doing a fine job, providing a bit of learned experience to new and not so new players. That's all that counts. Happy Christmas and a great New Year to you and yours.

      yep its so easy to load/unload. I'm making way more bank doing hauling contracts than commodity buying. Can't wait till I finally get my Hull B

    If you're willing to put off-grid containers into ships, the Intrepid can take 12 SCU with two in the compartment where the proper cargo elevator grids can be accessed from the interior; plus a couple in the gangway near the main door. The Intrepid has good quantum fuel range for Pyro travel, too. If you leave the interior access doors to the cargo grids open you can also use the cargo elevator grids to enter / exit the ship as an alternative to using the main door.

    Small hauling missions to start pay 45-55k; seems like that would be the best way to start.

      The rookie missions in the 4.0 Preview do pay well for what they are... when/if they're working.

    The life balance in the verse. Novice contracts that pay 70k. Loving it.

      agreed but still after they put contracts back on. it doesn't register my delivery. and can't submit or abandon it either 🤔 but yeah need to go test again now on new server

    DAMN I COMPLETELY FORGOT WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO MAKE RUNS THIS SMALL

    the grind is real lol I bought the ship I would need like Starlancer max to get a faster start and once hauling contracts are working I should be able to get running quickly. Build up to a couple of Mil and then start cargo trading to rebuild the empire lol

  • @VonChoker
    @VonChoker 10 дней назад +3

    honestly commodity trading isn't worth it at all. You made 8k on that food run and you could have made 30-40k hauling now that contracts are back. I can take a hauling contract to move around 11 scu for between 32k to 49k with no investment risk. and after scouring stanton trades most roi's are sub 1k per scu - it's just not worth it. Even the food one you highlighted turned out to be 3k per scu with limited supply. I can take a hauling contract with no risk and make much better money on shorter hops.
    Now at scale in a Hull C things might be different for each run but that's going to require 1 to 2 mil investment and I'd want to have about 3-4 mil before risking it. old adage, don't risk more than half your bank.
    I also don't know why you travel back empty. Later in the vid you looked at bexalite. you could have filled the 8scu in your cargo and sold that at orison crusader and make 5k profit on the return trip - another trucker adage - running empty is losing money. and that tragic end is why the hauling is better for starting as you wouldn't have lost any cash

    Keep an eye on the price of the fuel, is it cheaper elsewhere in system?

      @@protoni6996 Sure, but it sucks if the home location is bugged and on top of that the place I usually sell my stuff. XD It's just highly inconvenient. I rather play something else until it's fixed than to deal with that.

    • @protoni6996
      @protoni6996 10 дней назад

      i made test (with my cutty) but i just buy 10scu gold. so profit was 10.1k and cost 52.9k and it was in hurston - NB so it was pretty safe...but not huge profits.
