It’s not an open marriage, you can still do that and live together. It’s literally about your sanity, peace, space, etc..

I suppose the housing shortage does bother me right now - we live two hours apart but I rent out one room & made the garage into a granny flat ( so I feel I’m helping the housing shortage !6
Can you trust your partner not to cheat though when you hardly see them ?
