We are planning to visit Vienna in a few weeks. Is Vienna credit card friendly? I have heard in the past that they do not accept credit cards at many restaurants or shops, but I think that advice was from someone who traveled pre-pandemic and it may have changed.
Vienna is more credit card friendly now, than when we first moved here 2 years ago.. most places accept credit cards, but there are still few that do not.. especially Christmas markets.. would definitely recommend to carry some cash with you.
