"... And in one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church..." ☦️❤️
One of the best, succinct, beautiful, descriptions of The Church I've heard yet.

2:00 is where Fr. Tom starts
Edit: I love how simply, beautifully, and mystically Fr. Tom expressed the beautiful Truths of God. Orthodoxy, is not a religion, for it does away with the entire concept! It is a way of life, a way of being, a reality that is stepped into. For this reason many hate her, because they can't make sense of it. The transcendent truths found within Orthodoxy surpass human knowledge. I'm amazed and humbled, as always by Fr. Tom. May his memory be eternal!

Hoping to see a video on Orthodox Eschatology. In light of Protestant hyper dispositionalism that is so prevalent today, it is a timely need

The CHURCH - the Mystical Body of Christ!
In a day when so much seems uncertain, unfamiliar, and at times unfathomable we have the unchanging, ever-inspiring, and truly liberating Church which begins and ends in the Alpha/Omega. Thanks be to God for holy men like Fr. Tom that speak the Truth in Love.

What a teacher. So blessed to have been in a parish where the pastor had been educated by Fathers Hopko, Schmemann, Meyendorff, Tarazi, and Sergei Verhovskoy I believe also. ❤

Once again the Russian aspect alone is shown in bias. Ok I love the Russian part of Orthodoxy. However who helped the conversion of the Russians? OH the Greeks/Byzantines.... Who help the conversions of the Greeks? Oh St Paul. Who converted the Apostles? OH Christ the center of the Faith, lets at least get that right

Russians were converted by a king who wanted a monotheistic faith to unite his people. He wanted Islam because it could allow him to keep a great harem. But Christians made him notice Islam doesn't allow alcohol, so he chose Christianity.

@@konyvnyelv. Where is writtten in any historical and social books that polytheism is a source of desunion?. One example that comes immediately to my mind is the Persian invasion of Greece. The greeks, or better saying the Hellenics, fought together against a common invasor, that is the persian under the rule of king Artaxerxes.

This is just a rumour and persists in school books not in Histories of the Church@@konyvnyelv.
