- It was our very first Passover here in Caura and we had great guidance as we celebrated. It was simple but packed with sooooo much love and knowledge. This is definitely the first of many Passover celebrations to come, God willing, of course, and we're hoping that some of you can join us in 2025. Though we didn't slaughter our own lamb, Mr. Ali did an excellent job at bringing us fresh Halal lamb meat. Making Matzah was as enjoyable preparing as it was eating. As for the bitter herbs, we simply used what was available to us here. There is absolutely no reason why Passover can not be celebrated in Trinidad and Tobago! Initially , I wondered why the Jewish customs lately, but it's really none of my business what Ellis chooses to do. What I love about it is, she's sharing it with her kids; doing activities with her kids that's educational and safe, these kids look happy and content and loving and well mannered. I have never seen her lose her temper on her vids, never heard her broadcast her family issues to the public and that shows class to me .

I’m really glad to see you and your ducklings celebrating Biblical festivals. The church that I pastor has been celebrating and teaching the Biblical festivals for 45 years. It really blesses me to see believers in Trinidad doing this.

I will share with you some advice she gave to me that is” nurture your children’s relationship with their father because that which is denied becomes the thing most longed for”. Passover is a time of love and forgiveness. You cannot go to Passover and have unforgiveness in your heart. You need to do right by your children and their father. The God of the Passover is all about love and forgiveness. Rituals and practices are not what Christ wants. He accused the Pharisees of observing all those practices, but He told them their hearts were like whitened sepulchers, filled with dead men's bones. He told them their hearts were far from Him. You need to do the right thing in the eyes of God. Let this Passover be the start of reconciliation, if not with your husband, but with a father and his girls. AND No, I am NOT a Sana follower, subscriber, never joined his live, don't even like all of his content. From someone whose father did not wish one good thing about me or my siblings, do the God thing, not the right thing, do the God thing! If you want your girls to rise and call you blessed, you know, the virtuous, Proverbs 31 woman, do the God thing! Grace and Peace!
Absolutely not respectful and highly presumptuous. You cannot determine the nature of a journey, unless you’re in the shoes of the person walking that journey. Dare I say that you shall not judge. Didn’t Jesus say “when you judge, judge with righteous judgment?” You are not judging with righteous judgment. You are judging based on your emotions and we know that our emotions can be very deceptive.
In regards to your statements relative to celebrating the Bible’ festivals, you are also completely off base. Don’t you know and do you not understand that Paul, the apostle and all of the disciples of Jesus celebrated the biblical festivals. There wasn’t a year in the life of Jesus when he did not go up to Jerusalem to celebrate the three most important festivals. It is true that one is not made righteous by celebrating God‘s festivals, it is simply a matter of obedience to His word. Why do so many Christians have such a problem with God’s festivals, but have no problem celebrating man’s festivals? Perhaps they are not interested in serving the God of the Bible. I recommend that before you decide to upgrade someone on a public forum that you should be well based and grounded on what the Bible actually teaches. And I mean this respectfully, but purposely pointed.
