Being from Surat, I can say whenever I go there I feel visiting a developed city where taxes don't feel like charity and while coming back to Pune, I feel like coming to Tier 3 city in most of the areas and taxes going as forced charity!

The cause is unreasonable rise in the prices over the last 2 years that indicate cartelization rather than rising input costs.
The taxes are too high as compared to product cost so it does not make sense to give so much overhead. So it's not a feasible investment per say.
