Hopp om ny behandling mot leukemi

Leukemi är samlingsnamnet för flera typer av blodcancer Forskare har kämpat för att förstå sig på och slå ut blodcancer i nästan 200 år.
Wallenberg Clinical Fellow Thoas Fioretos, Lunds universitet, utvecklar en behandling som han hoppas ska ta död på leukemistamcellerna.

just watched the video, am not a medical student nor have a academic profession but am on my way after finishing my high school exams, but i believe from observing that scientist have very complex duty towards understanding the cancer cell system, defense mechanism, communication, movement, and more. to understand cancer cell system is by reverse engineer the hole system to verify how possible could be made to change the cancer cell function rather than beating the cancer cell as i believe not everything about beating but manipulating directing and changing behavior might be an optional answer too, on the other hand i had once in my imagination that building a cell rather than using medication and treatment is also a very complex advance solution to modern and future environment that defending human body not by treatment and medication but by invented cell that work alongside human complex mission and alert to unwelcome cell human body can't verify as example approach of inventing cell that beat other cell in regards to cell engineer as major approach to new defense mechanism and even more on the other hand to add.
