Great story, Michael. I was raised to always treat everyone with respect from the waiter to the CEO. It pays off so much to build and maintain relationships as you said. Funny story: I was working as a filing clerk for a title insurance company in Greenlawn, Long Island. One day, the CEO was eating lunch and I noticed he was eating Egg Drop soup. Without hesitation, I pointed to his soup and said “Look, it’s liquid cat” (Chinese restaurant joke). He broke down laughing so hard. I ended up getting a nice bonus that year I was there. My point is that we can use all the tools we have, humor, etc to win over people. Humor has helped me tremendously over the years to build relationships and keep things fun. I hope you have a nice weekend. God bless!!

This was good to listen to, great advice. Maybe 10 years ago at work, new guy started one morning, he'd moved from the USA to the UK the week before, he had the job lined up before he came over. We instantly got on well with eachother, and knowing that he didn't have any friends or family here I'd invite him to join my crew for lunch and drinks after work. He's a great guy, we became friends. The last year with the covid work has been really hard to get, that guy from a decade ago got in contact a couple weeks back and I'm sitting here working for him right now, really nice of him to look me up and give me some work. So I guess the moral of the story is be kind, polite and gracious with people that you meet. You never know what that relationship might bring you in the future. Cheers Michael :)
Michael is spot on with business relationships. Don't burn bridges and never judge anyone by the clothes they are wearing. That billionaire was smart. He was testing Michael to see what kind of character he had. This is the most important message for me from this sit down.
Michael your an excellent story teller. I've heard you speak several times. Thank you for sharing your testimony. God bless you and prosper you in all your ways.
Ow man i could listen to Michaels stories for years and i would never get bored. I hope for sit downs with Joe Pesci, Gianni Russo, Tony Sirico and Domenic Chainese
Great video Michael. I run a independent record label called Wize Guyz Global Ent. and networking is a thing I'm always doing. You had some great tips about networking in this video and I fully agree with not burning bridges, we want to build bridges!
Hello Michael, I work at Genpak in New York a company that Jim owns. He bought the company over 50 years ago which was a small foam manufacturer with a good idea and now it has grown and employs over 1700 people. I have met him and just like you say very friendly and unassuming.
Michael, great story and what an important message. The assistant Maureen staying with her boss all those years speaks volumes about loyalty, kindness, rewards in life and what kind of person he is. We need these thoughts especially now with the dark mess our current leaders have turned our country into. Hoping for election reform. Thanks stay healthy.
@@cr9477 I’m using Sammy Gravanos page as comparison. Sammy just tells war stories from the past, michael may tell a couple stories here and there but they always involve him directly, and they are always used to make a bigger point
@@cr9477 also I distinctly qualified “glory” days. Not the past but the highlights of his time in the mob. He tells all of it, focusing more on the lowest points of his life
One of the best stories told but even more was the encouragement of building relations, and not burning bridges. This was even better then mob stories. Very clean and encouraging. Thank you for sharing.
Whether I'm driving to work or as I was 2 mins ago, hanging clothes on the line. The way you deliver your stories and the structure of your show has grown so much. I've been a subscriber for a while now and your channel came up when I was watching some soprano's videos. It's been great following you on this journey, and also sharing your same spiritual beliefs
Love the stories. The whole getting outta of prison relates to me a lot. I went the usp terre haute at 18 did almost 6 yrs. I got out in 2010. I have been outta of trouble since. What opens my eyes was talking to a guy named Tony urso green in fci mckeen. Had some good talks with him and some others but that made me realize that i need to change before I got big time like them
That outro tho, you can just see Michael's skill as a business man. He went from doing mob stories in his own home to having a studio and professional animators just to make that outro in a matter of months! Also I know the Sammy thing is beyond complicated, Michael said something about Sammy and Sammy denouncing Michael's reason for walking away, let's just hope for the best

I started listening to you for the mob stories,But after listening to a few stories I was hooked I felt a spiritual connection to you and your message God Bless you and your Family. I now come to listen to you regardless of topic
As I recall reading somewhere years ago, Sinatra was 'their guy' in the mob. They made a few showbiz fat cats offers they couldn't refuse. Allowing Sinatra as a young guy in a big pool a big fish! Just like the old Roman empire fishermen! Keep it up Mike!

Micheal it's a pleasure to be able to listen to the story you told today. I have watched many of the documentaries about the Mafia and the history of where it started and the men that lived and died along the way. My Mother's parents came from Italy to America around 1905 to escape the poverty and corruption that made life in southern Italy pretty terrible. So they hoped to find a better life in America. Since neither of them spoke any english they relied on the Italian community for work and where to live. My Grandfather was part of the black market chain moving product all around PA.- Ohio-and the No.East States as well as Canada. My Mom's oldest sister was Married to Uncle Albert, who was in the insurance business. But the whispers of his connection to the Mob were just out of sight. Uncle Albert was always gone 2-3 days at time. He never talked about what he did, he would just deflect and change subject. All this made me very interested in the Mob. The true stories and history stuff are very interesting to me. So obviously I have seen your history as a made man how you as a young man made a fortune in the bootleg gas market. Your father Sonny, (nickname) was a long time made man before you. It's been a long time since I watched your story so I might be off on some of the facts and apologize for that. But I remember your scheme for the gas distribution was your idea and not ever done before. It was so profitable that it made your rise to Capo another first. This caused a rift with your Dad. But can't remember the details. I remember at least a couple more productions you have been in telling the stories. I liked you and your stories right from the start. My Father was a great story teller and I have been told I am as well. My stories are like yours in that the stories are tell are all true events of my life. Maybe someday I can share with you. I have posted some on facebook, I call them my "NO SHIT STORIES". People seem to like them enough to ask me to tell one. Lol. So I will tell a story and end it with "NO SHIT". Well Thank you for sharing your stories, kind regards. Daniel Anders.
I'm shit with names but think there was a big boss in Boston if my memory serves me right did his time and duess I'd like to see included big heavy guy glasses
I've worked in private aviation for nearly 15 years and it's always interesting to see the differences in how some of these wealthy people carry themselves. Some are super flashy with their daily driver car being a Rolls or Bentley and everything is name brand like Louis Vuitton luggage then we have a guy who owns the biggest plane and has a 145 or so foot yacht, has a ridiculous car collection but wears shorts and a t-shirt and drives a Jeep Cherokee as his daily driver and you'd never know what he's worth.
Great story. I meet lower level mob guys that meet me on my B day and showed me a great time meeting me that day yet treated me like life long friends. Amazing! The only word for it.
Speaking for myself, I like to hear any story, not just mob stories. Your life is not just about the mob. I'm pretty sure everyone agrees with me. So don't worry. Just keep them coming 😆. I need to google Jimmy Pattison now 😂 x
Mr. Franzese, this is undoubtedly one of the most important videos you've ever posted on your channel. I've had to learn the hard way how important networking is. Nobody ever imparted upon me how vital it is to our life's journey. I think I learned a little too late, as I'm now in my late 30s. I'm thankful to have health and stable work, but there isn't a day that goes by that I'm not wondering "what if" I had just been more active in making a larger circle of friends, going to networking events, going to gatherings in general and introducing myself to strangers, etc. The phrase "it's not what you know, it's who you know" may or may not be 100% true, but there's a damn good reason it exists. People, I know Mr. Franzese has an effortless eloquence to his delivery, but don't conflate his level of chill with how crucial his message is in this video.

I’ve always done the best I can by anyone and often have gone out of my way to help strangers. I do it because of who I am , thanks for sharing and I like your channel because of who you are today and the positivity that is always part of your content in one way or another. Of course I like the mob stories but I also like to hear the stories about who you are after the mob , I truly enjoy your channel and the sit downs you have. Thanks again, take care, stay safe and healthy.
Love listening to Micheal’s stories whatever the topic.
He’s an amazing guy and I’m pleased to be in Micheal’s inner circle.
It sure is a wonderful family atmosphere.
Bless you Micheal.
Yes he obviously has you over for dinner 🤣
Mr. Franzese, you have a way with words and break things down for anyone to learn. Thank you for always staying positive and seeing the good in things.
Thank you for the story.
Trivia -Jimmy Pattison purchased John Lennon’s iconic, psychedelic 1965 Rolls-Royce Phantom V in 1985. Had it on display at Expo '86 then donated to the Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria, BC.
I met Michael on two separate occasions several years back when he preached at my old church, and let me tell you, he really brought it home! I was thoroughly impressed. Michael is just a genuinely nice guy.
I've had 27 years of "challenges" myself....have finally put it behind me, clean for 3 years
Congratulations!
Stay strong brother. Im sure you know, but just remember, dabbling isnt an option, because it will always go off the rails.
Hi Michael, I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Jimmy Pattison is a business icon in BC. Over the years he has expanded into other businesses across Canada. Started watching your channel and subscribed two weeks ago. Keep up the great content Michael.
BEFORE WATCHING/LISTENING I JUST WANNA GIVE MY RESPECT & LOVE FROM 🇮🇳 MIZORAM INDIA 🇮🇳 TO THIS INCREDIBLE HUMAN WHO SHOWS US HOW YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE IF YOU WANT.! #RESPECT #LOVE #LONGLIVEMICHEALFRANZESE #GIVEHIMHISFLOWERNOW.!

A Mob Story has been long awaited thank you Michael!👏
Michael is spot on with business relationships.
Don't burn bridges and never judge anyone by the clothes they are wearing.
That billionaire was smart.
He was testing Michael to see what kind of character he had.
This is the most important message for me from this sit down.
Always inspiring to see guys in their golden years still in their prime. I hope to be so blessed in my 70s
Michael your an excellent story teller. I've heard you speak several times. Thank you for sharing your testimony. God bless you and prosper you in all your ways.
Ow man i could listen to Michaels stories for years and i would never get bored. I hope for sit downs with Joe Pesci, Gianni Russo, Tony Sirico and Domenic Chainese
... Gianni Russo? Really? Lol.

Great video Michael. I run a independent record label called Wize Guyz Global Ent. and networking is a thing I'm always doing. You had some great tips about networking in this video and I fully agree with not burning bridges, we want to build bridges!
This is a great message. You never know who your gonna cross paths in life . 👊
Hello Michael, I work at Genpak in New York a company that Jim owns. He bought the company over 50 years ago which was a small foam manufacturer with a good idea and now it has grown and employs over 1700 people. I have met him and just like you say very friendly and unassuming.
Wow! Caught it as it was uploaded, God bless you Michael Franzese
Love that Michael isn’t just reliving his “glory” days in the mob. He’s focused on the present, and trying to help improve the future.
Lmao. Bro, I love Michael and this channel but his videos are entirely about his past life. Nothing wrong with that btw
About to watch this.......Thank you for the upload Sir Michael, God bless♥️from South Africa
Im a new sub to the channel! Learning about you is so interesting, I’m glad you’ve decided to make this channel and share your life with us. Nice to meet ya! Looking forward to watching more. Wonderful vid 💖

12:16 "And there was a whole crew taking care of us." I knew it. The word "Crew" is used, what does that tell you?
12:19 Did you join?
12:53 I knew it.

14:45 "He's in the finance business." Not hard to figure out what that means.
'He wants to hear some mob stories" lol i didnt see that coming! Hilarious!
I started listening to you for the mob stories,But after listening to a few stories I was hooked I felt a spiritual connection to you and your message God Bless you and your Family. I now come to listen to you regardless of topic
I love the mob storys. Finally a new episode!
I watched Gotti with Armand Asante on RUclips this weekend because you recommended it! Fantastic!! Armand was amazing! I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it before! Thank you!! 🌞👍🏻
Peraminters.... The one word I take from that great movie Gotti 😎
Sory... Peramiters 😎☝️💯
I have that cd., I knew back then it was the best gotti movie.!!
I worked for Jimmy Pattison at a plant called Pattison Signs here in BC. There was a few pictures hanging around the plant floor where Jimmy had stopped in and got his picture taken with some of the workers. Jimmy wasnt born with a silver spoon. He had very humble beginnings and worked for everything he has.
Michael I met your father few years back I used to shoot the breeze with him sometimes, heck of a nice guy🙏.
Another example of the power of networking! Also a reminder to be nice to old men; youu never know who they are, what they do, where they've been, etc. Thank you for the lesson!
Eagerly waiting for Armand Desante. His role in Gotti was legendary.
One of my favorite mob movies
Assante even...still hangs in BX once in a while...took a picture with my boy that ended up on Page 6 in the ny post that use to kidnap drug dealers and did 15yrs...real og..true story

I can't wait to see Chaz huge fan of the Bronx tale
He grew up in my neighborhood
Great story. I meet lower level mob guys that meet me on my B day and showed me a great time meeting me that day yet treated me like life long friends. Amazing! The only word for it.
I cant wait for Gravano and Desante man! This channel is freaking amazing!

Mike when you go to Franks compound make sure you check out his big lionel train layout he was a lione train collector ,,,another awesome video Mike,,,Ken
