HE'S ALL IN!!! Dude, the smile on my face got bigger and bigger with each volume you pulled up 😆. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the series. Volumes 1-4 are all season 1 territory, and volume 5 does start the farmland arc (aka slave arc). I will say farmland is slower in terms of action at the beginning, but it makes up for it with character progression, in my opinion (I'm not saying anymore). Planetes was the series Yukimura made before creating Vinland Saga. I didn't pick up any manga or light novels this month, but since you're bringing over gaming content, here's what I got gaming-wise. First up is the demo of Guild Saga: Vanished Worlds (I talked about it in my comment on your Decline of Manga video but didn’t go in depth). It is an indie JRPG with turn-based combat made by a studio simply called Ocelot. You start off by creating your own character, choosing what class you want, attributes, schools, backstory, etc. Then you wash up on an island with your party members. The art style has gorgeous pixel art, and when you talk to someone, it gives you an anime-style portrait of them. The game isn't out yet (it comes out in April), but I've been having a blast playing the demo over and over, trying out different classes, routes, etc. I see a lot of potential for this game if the developers continue to listen to the community. It is PC-only, but it doesn't require much since it mostly relies on pixel art. The last game I got was Dredge. If you don't know what it is, you play as a fisherman who moved to a small island village. You go out to catch fish and monsters because it is a horror game. It deals with a lot of Lovecraftian stuff, so if that is up your alley, then I recommend you check it out. It's available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. I personally got it on my PC.
I’m excited to start up Vinland! You’ve been telling about it for years now and the time has finally come! Dredge wasn’t sounding too interesting until you said it was horror and now I’m interested!
I have the full set for Vinland Saga it’s on my March tbr. I haven’t been picking up anything new just keeping up to date with the series that I have , I’ve been wanting to get Kurosagi corpse delivery service but not sure as yet. Those figures are nice!
@@simonsaburou no it’s readily available. I ordered the first volume used came very crisp and clean once I read that volume I will decide if i pick up the others. Check crunchy roll they have a bundle sale around $95.00 for the first five or six volumes I believe
