Thanks for sharing the way you split the day into quarters to help during the tough days.

This was so encouraging. I've had auto immune issues since 18; it is so encouraging to hear the bravery and perseverance your daily lives hold. Art is becoming such a healing space for me this year. I'm amazed as I continue to learn how therapeutic it is 💛

🙋‍♀️ I love Art Flow videos; I watch them when I'm not well, and it encourages me to tackle that first blank page again when I'm back at my art desk 💖 I learn *so* much watching the organic process

Oh my goodness - My heart goes out to you both but it's so great of you to share what you are learning. Have learned so much from both of you. First learned of Sarah through the Workshop, Becca. Thank you for sharing.

When my daughter was in the hospital, I noticed a book in the children's room about diabetes --- I wish I had had a book like this, as a child; my uncle had Type 1. I love the bravery and clear explanations through the story. It was called "The Great Katie Kate Discusses Diabetes"

Interesting conversation. Not what one would have predicted but totally relevant. Appreciate the point made about art and exercise helping with stress. I am one of those people in continual sympathetic mode with my AI disease. So this is good to know that this is one way I can intervene. I do understand that the time I take to attempt lettering or doodling has a soothing effect, as does the sight of my sheets of paper. Sometimes I glance at them from a distance to see what it is I'm trying to figure out how to do-a clue to some greater project.

What a great interview, love both of you authentic artists! Just the real talk chat I need to get back to "arting" again! So many life distractions, seems the trick is to stick with it through that "ugly stage" like in art.
    I vote Free Flow day!

I'm hearing what you say about art as therapy, but I find myself holding my breath as I am practicing my calligraphy. Any ideas to add proper breathing to your art?
