I know I'm late to this, but I was a singer for years. So to answer your question, yes. It definitely is more difficult to sing while sitting down, even more so when you have your knees to your chest like she does in this video. The diaphragm is a muscle that helps people inhale and exhale, and breath control is a massive component of singing, so when you are sitting it compresses the diaphragm more and makes it harder to control breathing, in turn making singing more of a challenge. It doesn't necessarily make it extremely difficult, but the difference is noticeable. To me singing while sitting certain ways always feels kind of like when you lay completely flat on your stomach, not necessarily too difficult or impossible to breathe properly, but a slight difference in how that breathing feels. Actually, yes. It is harder to sing sitting down as you need room for your lungs to be able to breathe. I personally prefer singing while sitting than standing. But standing does give you an advantage as your breathing will be better. Hopefully this kinda helps. I’m not an expert, just a choir student.
Lol I actually feel relaxed when I sing sitting down, so I bet it's the same for her . Anyways, finally, I've been waiting this,,, and she still brought tears to my eyes. Those vocals are to die for ♥️♥️

i actually do sing. my school used to always call out my name in occasions to sing in front of everyone lol. so as someone who sings and who knows what major vocal techniques rosie uses, i would say that it’s usually more comfortable to sing while sitting down. it helps you adjust yourself to the melody and the tune in a faster and easier way. anyway, her voice is flawless. God bless her!
