Gdragon was the first one who launched Rose and Jennie in kpop music industry. Back when Blackpink newly debuted bigbang members were the one who promoted them the most. Even more then YG entertainment.

Yes both Rosé and Jennie have a song with the king of kpop, and both of them were just trainees when made this collab, Chaennie were only trainees and yet slayed in their collabs, btw to this days ppl still shocked about Rosé's voice in this song, some ppl use this song to hate on Rosé or to creat conspiracy theories about YG and hate on YG saying they don't allow her to sing with her normal voice, like they say that the voice we hear in their songs (that cute sweet nasal high voice she has) isnt her real voice and that is her real deep voice 03:50 04:17 they say they dont allow her to sing with her real deep voice and she uses a fake voice (u know how in this kpop world the idols are kinda "forced", not forced but u got what I meant, they have to act cute and have this cute vibe or speak with a cute voice) but its not true that Rosé uses a fake voice or that YG doesnt allow her to sing with her normal voice (at least I dont believe in this) she was just a trainee she was still learning and didnt find her tone yet, so sometimes her voice goes deep when she sings or high, and also she used a deep voice in the verses of her song "GONE" and in some songs on Sea of Hope she did as well, so, some ppl are delusional sometimes XD,

That’s GD for you. He will support all yg trainees with really good talent. I remember Suhyun of AKMU, he invited her to sing missing you during his solo concert. Suhyun was new to YG. You should check AKMU also, brother and sister tandem with super good voice/talent!
GD did a lot for all YG idols when they were trainees and is upseting to see their fans trash him . Their favorites are famous because they learned from the best . And he did promotions for everyone before and after debut .

It was really Rose but her voice is a little different because she was young back then and you know puberty things. Actually she said that she can't really sing the song now since her voice already changed. If you would check, her name was not written on it at first. The artist goes, "GDragon ft ? of YG New girl group" You can also check the collab between Jennie and GD with the title, Black
Things always become masterpiece when talent meets talent. And this song is so good. ✨❤️i couldn't believe Rosé was a trainee that time. 🥰 That's the best thing about her voice.
Rose's deep voice is everything
As shown in their netflix docu movie ("when u look me in the eyes" and "i won't give up") Rosé used to sing using her deep vocals when she was young. She still has it in her, like on her performances in SOH, but maybe there's less chances of her displaying it in BP songs since she is more in charge of higher vocal range while Jennie and Jisoo on lower ranges.
Gdragon recognize talent when he sees one.
He collaborated with Rosé and jennie before they debut.
But seems toxic blinks hated Gd for it. Supportive Sunbaenim.

Usually you loose your husky voice as you get older, the fact that this was recorded when she was a trainee, it probably means she practiced a lot and put pressure on her voice which resulted to a sweater voice which is good but the old voice is a winner too
