I love how much more recognition Melanie is getting. I’ve been listening to her since I was 10 years old. The special thing about her is she has this way of talking about mental health issues, relationship issues, and body image in such a creative way. For Christmas, I ask my friend for the k-12 album because I wasn't thinking about how this is my favorite album, but as all best friends do, they get you the other one which happened to be this album. I listened to it almost every day for about a month. I haven't listened to it on record in a while, so I think I will do that after school today.

I love how much more recognition Melanie is getting. I’ve been listening to her since I was 10 years old. The special thing about her is she has this way of talking about mental health issues, relationship issues, and body image in such a creative way. I’ve always admired how different she was in such a lovely, Melanie-kinda way. She’s unapologetic about how she is and I love that. 01. Notebook: 10/10. I love the chill vibe but its still not really chill which makes it perfect 👌, what a great song to start the EP. And also i get kinda Ariana Grande vibes from this song, and i dont really like Ariana (i respect her tho she seems really nice). And i love Mel’s lyric ‘age is nothing if you’re not evolved’.
02. Test Me: 10/10. This song i swear its just- wow- i get circus vibes but then again i get the cover of the album (the pinky colour, a school desk and Mel idk) idk why, thats what i get from it. Like a pink planet and i see k-12 on that planet trapped in the bubble.
03. Brain and Heart: 8/10. I love the meaning and lyrics but its just the tune. The tune isnt my favourite.

07. The Bakery: 10/10. Did anyone forget that she said she was gonna scrap one song and have 6 songs but she added a 7th one anyway. The ‘la lala la lalala’ at the start was just epic. The rest was just- i cant put it into words- i just- wow- i love how she did the ‘pack it box it flip it top it with a bow tie ribbons stop it’ there and another verse after instead of just a chorus but the next ones were before the chorus, i love how she changed it up. I love how the chorus had two voices, one was the main voice and the second one was higher than the main, then it went higher and higher and HIGHER and then she was literally doing that soft shout which i love. And then the chorus into the ‘la lala la lalala’ was perfect wow.

the scrap one was history, I think she took it because it was kind of a love song. I don't think it would make sense since no love is going on in her life and she made a breakup song. it wouldn't make sense there being a love song and a break up song right after words

3. Glued (-) THIS HAS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR 3 MONTHS STRAIGHT, ls so almost as good as Numbers and Test Me, Ranked lower since it grew on me unlike the other two which I just adored like " A love at first sight" moment.
4. Field Trip (-) Just As Good As Glued, But I feel The Start Is a little weak, but the Middle~End is actually life-changing
5. Notebook (-) Really Great, Really Amazing Even.
6. Brain And Heart - No longer my least favorate, It's actually really great, but I prefer the other songs.
7. The Bakery (-) It's Great, But it gets old after awhile, i feel like this belongs more in K-12 and Fire Drill In After School/This EP/Album More.
