I noticed a high proportion of patterns in this file, particularly the 8ths, follow a simple left-up-down-right or right-down-up-left pattern. If you were to imagine yourself playing it on pad, most of the time you'd be facing the left and pacing back and forth on the spot. The simfile maker should be more aware of what patterns they're using, and keeping them varied and meaningful. For instance, different columns/patterns can be used to indicate changes in pitch and so on.

And if you're going to be using your fingers for a game like this, you might want to actually play something that makes you use your fingers instead of shoving them in your ass at the same of playing. tl;dr, pad files should not be played with sm except with index for pre-pad test.
