Zhiyun Weebill S settings for smoother walking footage..,
This video explains how I set my weebill s for smooth footage in a walking situation...
Set the following for pan follow....
Deadband =1
Speed = 15 to 20
smooth =100 to 200
tilt pan
deadband =10
speed =15
smooth =100
Deadband at 1 usually make the gimbal responsive and defaults the gimbal to the middle...
speed is set slow so its slow to react to the movement you give on the handle...
at 15 the speed will delay your had movements about a second...
This allows you to walk orbits and relatively wide open spaces reducing the possibility to jerk the pan movements...
Smooth values is the recovery time from once to move the pan and it returns to the center... 100 equals to about 2.5 seconds and 200 equips to 5 seconds
These settings are best used in a walking situation for smaller distances like indoors or tighter spaces of a small room... its best to reduce your smooth values and increase your speed... But generally I use "GO" mode to do small rooms and small spaces... Just be more careful to steady your movements in "GO" mode...
Finally to fix my wobbly horizon...
Try doing a six sided calibration and then Auto tune your gimbal... The values are set for the motor strength but I then set the level motors strength from medium to high... To allow you to add more power to the motors should you run with the gimbal or something similar...
