Join me once again in the kitchen, this weather called for a comfort warm meal and it's mayi moulin( #cornmeal/ #polenta/#grits) with salmon infused with Haitian rhum. #Mayimoulin used to be my worst nightmare growing up lol, but in my adulthood, I'm noticing that I gravitate towards it more often, who knew!?
I'm still a working progress when it comes to editing y'all, but I'll get better overtime!

Haitian food is very delicious, it's a blend of French, Spanish, African cuisine and Caribbean fusion with bold flavors.. try it one day.. you'll love it...

Haitian in the house! I'm taking notes. The yellow grains look like our Cameroonian garri. When I hear Maggi I was like yass!! Who else know maggi? I can't cook a thing without Maggi. It's never happened.
Yes! Our garri we call it Kasav (cassava) , Haitian culture and cuisine are very closely related to our African ancestors, we have a lot in common .. Maggie is life 😂
This looks like it’s going to be a good combination and I might try it. I don’t think I ever had salmon before. I may use this recipe or have my mom make it.

I love garlic as well. Sometimes I’m told that my dishes have too much garlic and I just give them that look. I’m not a big seafood lover so you you think this dish would be good using chicken in place of the fish?
