This saw is part of evolutions project DIY range, in this video I cover unboxing, building the saw, some tests and my thoughts.
Heres are some detail on the specs:
Multi-Material cutting technology. One saw, one blade, cuts all.*
Accurate cutting with laser guidance, adjustable depth of cut and 9 positive mitre stops.
Reliable, smooth, square cutting every time in a variety of materials.
Powerful 1500W hi-torque motor with optimised gearbox & blade system.
Sliding functionality provides a 230 x 65mm cross cut capacity, allowing you to glide through materials with ease.
Positive mitre stops both left & right at 0˚, 15, 22.5, 30, and 45˚.
Ergonomic trigger handle designed for left and right handed use.
Connect this with Evolution's Mitre Saw Stand, to give you the freedom to perform repeated length cutting on wide and long materials with precision.
The Evolution 210mm Diamond blade can also be fitted for cutting ceramic tiles and ornamental stone, (sold separately).
Japanese Tungsten-Carbide-Tipped (TCT) 210mm blade included.

Non-Ferrous Metal
Aluminium, armoured cables, cable tray, copper, floor edgings, roof flashings, stair nosings.
Plastic
Electrical conduit, plastic pipes, plexiglas, rubber & reinforced hoses, (WPC) Wood Plastic Composites.
Not Recommended Hardened high carbon, coated and stainless steel.
Note: Cutting galvanised steel may reduce blade life.

Hi Niamh :) It's quite a nice saw and much lighter than my old one but that is all metal and the bed is bigger but it's pretty heavy with the same blade size. The laser is handy but I'm an old school tape and pencil kinda guy and I'll draw the blade down to line up anyway :) the fact that I'll cut most things and has a 3 yr warranty makes it good value I think.

What's the difference between the F210 and the s210

The F range is DIY the other is more contractor 🙂
