    10 bath per bottle in Thailand around 0.32$ (The original price) It is very cheap and concentrated like drinking syrup. I remember drinking almost a dozen, and still alive to comment.

    For all of you arguing about where Red Bull started watch this video geez, ruclips.net/video/Ri0XXjmiviM/видео.html it explains that it started in Thailand, then an Austrian partnered with the Thai, and expanded the brand, adding carbonation to "Europeanize" it so the brand would take off in Europe, as well as changing their marketing strategies for Generation Y with their whole student brand managers passing them out free and throwing parties, then expanding to hosting extreme sports events and so on...

    I like Thai red bull better than our american one. However, to the commentators below...we sell things bigger here in America because we have an unhealthy view of how to live our lives "everything is bigger in America". That mindset does not mean we sell shit, we just sell tons more of something and usually in bigger quantities because we are greedy bastards with no regards to the health of our fellow man. Our red bull is still good, thai is just better. Thai redbull is definitely stronger as we drank it almost every day and were able to be wide awake for far longer than we were stateside or even in Japan where our only energy drinks (on base anyway) were monster.

    I was just offered to drink an interesting mix here in Thailand. Red bull, kratom and tobacco?!. Red bull and kratom, I can see. But the tobacco? No joke. These 50ish men drank it themselves. Said a pinch tobacco in the red bull makes you "like drunk". I don't feel drunk but they surely did. And I know one of them. He never drinks alcohol. Maybe I am drunk? 🤔😀

  • @Dan_druft

    You didn't mention the other Thai Red Bull Theoplex-L Formula which is a sweeter concentrated version of the standard Red Bull. It's also un-carbonated, a bit like runny syrup. First time I was out in Thailand after a drinking session the night before I saw this bottle in my mini bar in my room and drunk the whole bottle. It tasted the same but it was obviously thicker in consistency. Anyway after about 30 minutes I was feeling shit so U went to the nearest bar thinking a cold beer will sort me out but when U got there I started to fit, I actually thought I was having a heart attack and passed out, waking up in hospital on a drip and stayed there in my own private room for 2 days. Hence Iv never had another Red Bull again.

    • @chatnaja1324
      @chatnaja1324 2 года назад

      Haha you just drink it too much. It is not even the Red Bull fault if you drink it controlled like when you need to be awake in your normal sleep time or when you have to use much energy to work. Don’t drink it with no reason or you could get a heart attack

      That is so freaking hilarious what you just said I was going to come here I mention how when I was in Thailand in the early 2000s the Red Bull then would make my heart hurt.
      The Red Bull now even in that glass bottle from Thailand doesn't make my heart hurt they've changed something maybe too many people having heart attacks, or what they probably would have been would be just erratic Heartbeat.
      And I swear it was also in a smaller bottle even like 90 ml one would last all day just taking a little sip now and then.
      I would only get the heart pains if I drank a whole bottle all at once.

    • @Moeferd
      @Moeferd  7 лет назад +3

      David Andersson it's a comparison of the Red Bull that's sold in America versus the one sold in Thailand. It has nothing to do with who owns the company, or where that owner lives.

    • @Moeferd
      @Moeferd  7 лет назад +3

      No, he is right. The actual company "Red Bull" is an Austrian company. Yes, the drink is based on drinks that were popular in Thailand, but the actual Red Bull beverage and company started in Austria. Red Bull's website has more info for you if you are interested. energydrink-us.redbull.com/en/company

    • @Moeferd
      @Moeferd  7 лет назад +3

      Dead Pool the first line in the wiki reads "Red Bull is an energy drink sold by Austrian company Red Bull GmbH, created in 1987." Again, the drink is based off of a beverage originally created in Thailand, but actual Red Bull is a creation from Austria.

      After seeing market potential in the drink, Dietrich Mateschitz partnered with Chaleo in bringing it to Europe. Under their agreement, the partners invested $500,000 each into founding Red Bull GmbH. In return, they would each receive a 49% stake in the company, with the remaining 2% stake going to Chaleo's son Chalerm.

    I first went to Phuket in 1989. I remember getting hooked on that stuff, known as Krating Daeng, as a mixer with meekong whiskey...you would be peeing fluoro for days. The story was that one of the ingredients was bull semen. I thought it was a joke, but it turns out that taurine was originally extracted from Bull semen..true story. no doubt these days they have another way of making it.

      I bought most of it in Chiang Mai. A little store between the Buri House hotel and Phra Singh temple, so a bit of a touristy area. That obviously pushed prices up. But that's still less than $1 US dollar, and a normal can of Red Bull here in the states is around $3. So I'll take the tourist markup.
