If you're into sci-fi, you're missing out, it's one of the most over the top and in depth fictional universes ever created and its still being expanded until now. Just look up Angron's story, that's typical 40k lore.

I can 100% see them adding a kill confirmed type game mode. Apothecaries have to extract fallen space marine's gene-seeds mid battle in order for it not to be destroyed/taken by the enemy. I think that works not only gameplay wise but also lore-wise really well.

would love to see more environmental damage from the space marine armor. too often games kind of ignore the sheer weight of what the character is wearing due to gameplay reasons. but just having the old stone steps getting damaged from dudes running over them is totally possible and would add so much atmosphere

I saw a ps5 performance analysis. It barely touched 60 which I expected. Some said it looks a bit blurry in performance but the pvp should run fine without hordes of enemies
The game at its current state is fun and satisfying. As to what will happen in the future why do you worry so much about it? You'll never know what's going to happen in the future. The most important thing is the game is currently fun to play and it's going to remain fun for quite some time that's all that matters. Plus there are already free dlc and updates coming along the way. I don't see the need to worry much about it.

I like that you're able to see if you've been scanned by a Tactical. Knowing that the enemy can see you through walls will hopefully give you a better chance at fighting back. Also, can grenades be thrown through Heavy shields?
This looks pretty basic, which is what I was expecting, which isnt bad. I think PvP would really work with a moving set of objectives like TF2 or overwatch has. Have a reason for people to push together, use the heavies shield, melee characters to protect the heavy, snipers to take out the heavy, assualt to take out the snipers. Bulwark to be a front line pusher, tactical and vangaurd to be harrasers. Also this would also work well to add an apothecary class.
So how d we get access to multiplayer pvp? I competed that tutorial mission that let me do co-op. Do I need to do more of the campaign before I can do pvp?
The PVP is ok but i imagine it would be great when youve got a full squad and stick together! I wish they'd added a mode like in World War Z PVP where there's swarms of enemies trying to kill both teams while you duke it out.

Base game offers about 50 hours of gameplay, and the pvp should over another 50, so assuming its 100 hours playtime until you get tired of it, thats a pretty good dral for $70. But of course it has replayability with the pvp.
I’m super excited for this game. I didn’t find out about it until recently and I’m so hyped for it. I get the game for free through AMD too so I can’t complain one bit!
As an average gamer here are some things, PVP needs more balancing(games are too one sided), heavy and vanguard class are op(heavy bolter and grapnel launcher), it takes pretty long to play online for pve maybe because of loaded servers but it takes some time, PVP maps are kinda mediocre but maybe its cause I'm still learning them. Everything else is just really well done and satisfying to play.
looks like the non-melee classes may dominate PvP, picking people off from far away before they can even try swinging a blade i feel like the Sniper class was *made* for the PvP
Love the game, but I wish there were stance switching. That would eliminate having to expose most of your body to shoot someone. Also think they should increase the TTK a little if they want to make the multiplayer more balanced between competitiveness and fun.
So how does XP gain compare between PVP and PVE? What do you think gives quicker progression? (I just really want to unlock the cosmetics as quick as possible...)
I think They should add a tactical switch from left to right handed gun stance since there is no wall cover. And there should be a parry system ONLINE PVP to make those bulwarks and corny chain sword slashers work 😅 but overall this looks amazing and I’m sure once the game is out and more people get hold of the game pvp will take shorter to join. 21:30 you can clearly see the disadvantage he couldn’t even defend himself shooting the other 2 after killing the bulwark.
I think the multiplayer is great i hope they can implement maybe a down state instead of just straight death and during the down state you can get executed (you dont have to make the whole pvp like this just add a mode where its kinda like gears)
Snipers need to be buffed for PVP , 4 body shots for a kill / 2 headshots for a kill is a bit ridiculous for anyone trying to enjoy sniping in the pvp aspect
I think the speed of play and amount of space is really good. too many PvP shooters are just too quick and too frustrating, enemies around every corner. . .really unenjoyable, this looks perfect!!
thats literally how this game is lmao. If you play even one match in this you'll see that the Time to kill is insanely fast and you won't get more than one kill without an enemy grappling you from around the corner. I think the game is great but it shouldn't be immune to criticism

@vlatepes1901 Takes a skill factor out of melee focus builds in pvp since its just mash melee, dodge, mash melee. It wouldn't be too much to work something more than that into pvp like other games. Hell even a perfect block that just gives the defender a free hit or something to count as a parry, or parrying gives half a pip of armour back
The game is fun, however the only issue that stains it pretty badly for me is the ttk cause its so damn short. Not to mention that the grapple hook class is so broken cause you can just stun someone and you get plenty of time to shoot them while they get up. Never lost a single encounter while doing that on a one on one basis
