Brass is an alloy of metals, and the chemistry between Paolo Raineri and
Francesco Bucci is based, as well, on the strength that
their interaction creates.
Brass is also the material of two of the three instruments that you can hear:
trumpet, trombone and drums - straight ahead to the core, between Slayer and
Meshuggah, between pure violence and exceptional technique.
This is a deep and philological operation at the same time, played by hi-level
musicians with strapping roots in rich and deep Metal mines, really far from a
simple young infatuation.
So many musicians have joked with heavy metal, but not all of them are able to
do that and Metal kids know that.They know, we know, you know!
The EP, just released on the 1st of November 2015, is only the first step.
Ottone Pesante is planning an Italian tour, a European tour and the release of a
full length album in 2016.

La cosa che adoro di sta band è che, usando gli ottoni, mette allo scoperto molto bene come nel Metal si trovino spesso strutture musicali jazz; con i muri di chitarre spesso non è così evidente.

dal vivo ed in registrazione utilizziamo una doppia uscita per gli ottoni (pulito e distorto). In futuro vedremo di caricare qualche video per far capire meglio che sonorità hanno tromba e trombone distorti.
