@@gviczeBut at least he knows the difference between “to” and “too”, which is another thing he has over you. Were you born retarded or did you take lessons?
It was his role as Remington Steele that made think that this guy would be perfect as Bond, so I have to disagree with Pierce that his Bond wouldn't have been as good 9 years ago. So when I saw this movie I must admit I was kind of disappointed. His Bond character lacked a lot of the cool, debonair wit that made Remington Steele so awesome. Still love Pierce though in just about every thing he is in.
I wonder if he had gotten the role in '86, he would be forced to change to separate from his Remington Steele character. Or fire him bc it was too much like RS. Based on various interviews and accounts during that time, it seemed that the viewers were pushing PB as Bond based on his performance on RS. Eventually there were conversations. Rumors. Even Pepsi or Coca Cola did commercials with PB that made him look very Bond. For him not being able to do Bond due to contract was a huge deal in the media more so than the franchise. I heard that he wasn't given a contract yet to play Bond when RS was renewed. Who knew if he would have even gotten the role if RS stayed canceled.
Doesn’t he. Very much so. He’s the salt of the earth now but sounds rather egotistic here. The first time I’ve ever heard him mention Tim though. That’s always bugged me. He never or wouldn’t refer to him but would do so to Roger and Sean routinely. Roger only did two solid movies. Sean had the advantage of being the first. He got the better scripts when they were just getting started. Fresher stories. Always the same. The best material is usually found earlier than later in a franchise.
@@mbucd Well, why would he, when he came along before? He was due to do a 3rd film and might’ve managed a 4th. Maybe that was a reason. None of the other actors ever seemed to refer to Tim, but they were overrated and I hope it didn’t bother him much.
No he’s not how dare you say that. You could say that about any bond right? His movies are really good they’re action packed and everything a bond movie should be.
@@RaniaBhatti +There is a reason, why he was dropped by the Broccolis. And Daniel Craig came in. He is the better Bond. Pierce Brosnan is Irish and very boring in almost every role.
One of the poorer Bonds along with Timothy Dalton. Another thing I didn't like about it was the product placements. It was like watching a long commercial.
The most beautiful man in the world
Brosnan is so cool
What a badass movie this was. It was also badass in the video game.
Thank you so very much for this!
Bobbie is Magnificent.
Forever my favorite James Bond
Most underrated Bond ever.
Watch the movie for the first time when I was about 10 years old January of 97 HBO
❤❤❤❤❤❤love you so much
GoldenEye forever ❤❤❤
Didn't get a fax from Lazenby then?
Without Sean Bean as his counterpart, Brosnan is to cliche and really dull in this…

It was a time when men wanted to be James Bond. Daniel Craig took away the fun and the fantasy
He sounds pretty smug.

Could you blame him? Goldeneye was a massive commercial success and revived Bond. Hardly any bad reviews either. He was on top of the world.

Not a fan of him as bond personally. Only went to see that one with teri hatcher in it because...it had teri hatcher in it!

Why do you think Timothy Daltons Bond was poor?
