YALL, please watch the video and read the description box for info. I mixed the two colors in the bowl to get the one I wanted. I then used the two separate colors to create highlights and lowlights. This is totally optional, get creative and do it the way it works for you.
*I am not a hairstylist, so I will not be giving you advice on your hair*

Hi-ya, sweets. So in the video, you mentioned you didn't know where the red came from, and it's because when you bleach naturally dark or box Black hair when it first lifts, it gets reddish-orange during the process, but that's also why your roots were so light because you were also kinda stripping your natural color with the color oops (and bc it's hotter there), that's just the weird chemistry of hair! :) Anyways this color came out perfect!!

I really want my hair dark auburn, I had it that color in my teens and I loved it. I went back to my natural color which is black, I now dye it black to cover the gray. So I'm debating on what to do because my hair stylist is giving me a hard time to change it for me. She doesn't want my hair to get damaged, I had to beg her to perm it a few year's ago! She doesn't play, she will not do anything that will damage your hair. I went to the Dominican salon because they are great with colors and got it dyed red from black, that was year's ago. I didn't like the red they used though, it was like a copper red and it didn't look good with my complexion, I only like dark shades. Dark auburn is a beautiful color. Your video was helpful though and I thank u for that, I have some faith now! 🤣🤣🤣

If you dye your hair black after bleaching, expect that when you try to bleach again. The bleached ends that you dyed black will not brighten. Happened to me and i was annoyed

I really wanna do highlights of this colour in my hair but idk if it would look weird 😭😬
I dyed my hair so many colors, basically every color of the rainbow. I gave it a rest and decided I would go only highlights, literally best decision I made 😭 Highlights always look good :). Just hint of color and when you part or wear it in a certain hair style, it looks so cute. Trust me, you won’t regret it lol

What color dye did you use? I just ordered hair and did not notice that it is color 4c on accident. I decide to keep it and just dye my own hair to match

You have to dye it back to your natural hair color, it won't fade back correctly within 6 weeks. Sorry this is late btw

yes! if u havent dyed it before you will need bleach
You can a L’Oréal hicolor and you won’t have to bleach just develop

Does it burn when u bleach ur hair…I want to dye my hair that color but I just don’t want it to burn and I definitely don’t want my hair to fall out…and how long are u supposed to leave the stuff that takes the color away I’m srry I’m just worried
I recommend seeing a stylist.
I was just thinking u could have it look like an ombre look, so the darker ends will work out. Maybe I will have to do that because there is no way to get it all one even shade!

Did you mix the 2 colors in the bowl or did you apply colors separately then blended it onto your hair with fingers???

i use a different one but those color removers do leave a bleached look

Why Did use oops? To remove previous dye deposit or lighten your natural hair colour?

Probably not, I did tho. But if you want healthy hair, don’t.

Maybe 5-10 mins after applying it. Because the color has bleach in it as well.

Do you have to use bleach
You can use a permanent color, but it will lighten your hair to get a vibrant color. Black hair won’t show vibrant color unless it’s been lightened.
Well, she’s extremely beautiful so... the hot roots won’t show anyway when wearing an afro.
So basically this need to bleach from black hair?
If you want a vibrant color, you would always need to lighten first. I bleached because my hair was colored black, my hair isn’t naturally black. There are safer ways, but consult your hairstylist.

When you said you were alternating colors did you mean the lighter hair dye color was going towards the roots and the darker hair dye was going down the bottom part of the hair?

I was alternating sorta like highlights? If that me sense. Just getting small sections and alternating between colors.

While I was out shopping today. (2-15-2022) I noticed a blk children's book in a store. The title was HAIR LOVE. I picked it up and read a little. The story was about a young black couple maybe in their thirties. With a young daughter about five or six years old. The father was helping his child style her hair. He seemed to be encouraging her to go with an afro type of style. How cute. But at the end of the book there was a depiction of the whole family together. The mother had her hair strait and dyed yellow.
I ask myself two very necessary questions. First why do so many blk women hate their natural African selves that much? Not many will wear nature hair for even 7 days out of the year. Second why would the creator of this book just insist on depicting the mother in this way? Even ending the book in that manner. 👨🏾🤝👨🏼
