I think the devs have discovered that any publicity is good publicity. Too bad it's at the expense of the players.

Are we shocked? Not really. Royal High is notorious for delaying updates. The main thing that gets me is the fact that they won't tell us if it will come out a certain day or not. Given that a huge chunk of their fanbase are children it is pretty annoying that they don't announce that it is not coming out on that certain day. Children are disobeying their parents and staying up late for this update. This is not healthy. If the devs know it is not coming out on certain days then they need to say so. We have seen plenty of other dev teams take these things into account. Adopt Me for example updates during the day and also always follows an update pattern. They announce updates so not to leave anyone on edge. It is honestly so annoying playing this guessing game with Royal High every single time an update is coming up.

I was watching a live on oct 1 being exited for the update to litterally 3am and I wasnt happy when it didnt come
Another good example is Wild Horse Islands. You can also enter game to look on the board for the countdown og the next update. They ate especially reliable when they announced their setbacks in advance to the community so they will know and be patience.

With me soon getting a job it's impossible for me to stay up that late just to check for an update, if nothing Is happening then nothing is happening. The only moments wheren i can breath is when i have half days or during weekends, so for children to stay up that late just for that is extremely concerning.
They’re definitely working on it, because of the new school I decided to be more forgiving this year. HOWEVER, I completely understand the frustration of the community. Communication has ALWAYS been royale high’s biggest problem along with consistency. Eventually you get tired of holding your breath wondering if an update will even come.

Right, I've lost my hope in any updates upcoming considering thee only way rh gets their players is by teasing them by saying something and never do it, then the devs get upset on how the community is pushing them into the update

I think the reason why some people are obsessed is because we don’t have much time to farm for candy I’ve had to save up last years candy to try complete my goal of getting the Magical broomstick and they say that September and October are the autumn months but we don’t even get Wickery cliffs until October 4/5th (Depends on which country you live in) and November is supposed to be apart of Winter but we don’t get the Winter update until December so I’m hoping they extend it just for a little bit longer

Their not really obsessed, their mad and frustrated the devs don’t know how to do their jobs correctly.
From what I know, this amount of hype (maybe a little bit less) happened last year. it's also because this so far is the latest the update has ever come out.
I've also seen people worried that if the update doesn't come out soon, nobody will have time to get candies for items. That is if the devs dont extend the length of the Halloween event window. Especially since the prices for items are skyrocketing every year.

I hope they hurry up or at least start speaking up about it they used to show sneak peaks but now they just keep going silent and just say what’s gonna be in it then never talk about it again
i think that the community has a hard time being patient, which leads to over-publicizing any bit of information from the twitter page, devs’ streams, etc.. because we just got several updates anywhere from 5 days to a week and a half apart for campus 3, i feel like the community is getting more and more demanding because they’re not used to the updates slowing down.
I think it’s more because it’s only out for about a month, and right now we have 25 days (maybe less when it comes out) to farm and enjoy it, which is pretty impossible
But is it really demanding if we want the update to be out on time when it’s supposed to be? That should be the bare minimum
I think most ppl are just exciited any worried that we wont have enough time to farm. Plus i think royaleween is the best one out of all the updates bcz its always been consistant and we're just scared we wont be able to get new sets in time.
@@Duckiana i totally understand that, and in my opinion i think the devs would extend royalloween just for the sake of people getting their items, because nothing really happens in november.
@@eladiel7749 i know how you feel, but please remember that the devs have to add to campus 3, fix bugs, and work on royalloween at the same time. they’re juggling while trying to keep the community from strangling them, LOL.
IDK what happened to this game. I think the developers kind of gave up on Royale high. I think their highschool will be one of the last updates to come out for this game. :(

Why would they give up they clearly stated on Twitter that wickery cliffs Is returning and developers are actively working and updating the game so that says otherwise.

Had they been updating us abt the process of Royaleween, I dont think this would be happening. I get that they want things to be a surprise but that angers the community even more
It’s weird. Like for example, every weekend, they usually add a new phase to the new school but now it’s a literally just stopped, and usually that royaleween update comes out on October 1 to next October 5…. Like what?
They stopped for Royalween and focused on bug fixes, I think they just put more effort into royaleween therefore it’s coming after the usual date

Launce literally said "we're gonna aim for early October, but don't want to give a specific date to get everyone's hopes up." Because that HAS happened in the past-
Then we get every RH RUclips making Click bait videos like
"ROYALLOWEEN COMING OUT TONIGHT(?)"
"NOT ENOUGH DAYS FOR ROYALLOWEEN!?"
"ROYALLOWEEN CANCELLED?!"
Obvs the community is going to freak out and suddenly think the update is canceled and grow even more impatient, lol.
That being said, I really think the Devs should be more vocal with the Community in at least communicating WHY the Update isn't coming out yet. Is Barbie sick? Are they just testing the Maze? We dont know because the Devs never want to tell us smh
exactly! when ppl constantly see the borderline clickbait "ROYALLOWEEN?!?!?!??!?!" "WHEN IS ROYALLOWEEN COMING??!?!?!?" on their feed they're gonna start expecting royalloween and that puts pressure on devs bc theres this whole expectation.
then people get impatient, complain, and start making callout posts or whatever which leads to harassment. and in response the ccs and devs do literally anything but communicate
and the devs probably wont address the communication issues bc ppl on twt are harassing them, constantly complaining about no royalloween, and spreading homophobia, transphobia etc
plus the fact that the devs are arguing with rhtc members just adds fire to the fuel
I just wish the devs would communicate. They never say literally anything, leaving us confused and frustrated. At first, they were focusing on the new school but after like phase 5 or 6, they just didn't update it and it still goes up to like phase 12(I think). People would understand if they were like "hey we're going to be focusing on Halloween so expect not to get new school updates" but they didn't say anything. I agree that the community is demanding 100% but Halloween is probably their most popular and most loved update (they're well aware of that), leaving people upset.
Not only that but, they set themselves up for failure and impatience. They released the new school while they're still working on it and now they have to focus on halloween while still focusing on the bugs and problems from the new campus; due to their own lack of communication and demand from the community, people are expecting both. I think they bring too much on themselves and promise things they don't plan on doing then when people expect those things of them, others automatically jump to their defense and baby them. I know they have a small team and are working hard but it just gets frustrating.
Also, the later the update is released, the less time people have to farm. Majority of people already don't have all day to sit there farming and there is literally no way to get around it.

Honestly its super frustrating at this point. And both parties are in the wrong. The devs know this is a super hyped update, and have had some time to work on it. Also, this update is only around for about a month, so it makes sense people are freaking out since its already getting a bit late. However, people do need to have patience, understand they are trying to make a good update for us, and have hope they will extend the season. At the same time, it would be great if there would be a little communication instead of the community being left in the dark constantly then being told to "be patient". Also, I completely understand AND agree that devs have lifes outside of roblox and they have every right to enjoy that, BUT, they have so many people counting on them for this update, and this is their job. Overall, there needs to be much better communication, but we need to be patient and realize they are making the best update for us. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

This but is it so hard to communicate the fan base is kids and a ton are staying up very very late waiting for this update everyday. They never go by a schedule, and releasing the new school right before Halloween was a bad idea. It was very bad planning on there end

Me personally as a royale high player who only plays when it's " royallween ", i couldnt care less if they'll dont add much in the Halloween update . Tbh i just like to play the Halloween update because it's more fun, not because i want a new set or smth.
this week has gone by so fast already that i kinda forgot about royalween because of school, yes i am a lil disappointed that the event hasnt come out yet, but its good to take my mind off of it for a while becuase thats when it will come out when everyone becomes less impatient with the devs. also that drawing u did was amazing!
I think people are upset bc they waited like 2/3 years for the new school, now that it's out we haven't gotten a new phase in months so it's basically incomplete and just an empty shell, and now the halloween update is delayed too and they aren't even saying anything

I am not saying the devs should rush I understand It can take time and they are people to who need breaks and things like that however I do think it’s unfair how they haven’t even told us a rough time when wc will come out like not promise a day but tell us what day it will roughly come out because it’s unfair to make everyone wait every day/night with no clue on when it will come I have seen people saying they have been waiting until late hours in the night for it to come out then it doesn’t. It’s also unfair if they don’t give us some more days with Wickery Cliffs because we will not be able to get expensive items like the Witch’s broom and Steampunk set I really hope It comes out soon but I’m done waiting I will wait and see the next day instead of waiting every night eventually people will get annoyed and give up and move on to other games right now I’m not even playing rh that much and playing Adopt Me because unlike rh they have deadlines and make update videos showing when events will be coming Even BLOXBURG updated before Royale High- 😭😭😭
THAT IS WHAT IM SAYING: Both of adopt me, bloxburg, AND wild horse islands for example, all have deadlines to release the update in advance. And if they needed more time, they will let the community know in advance.

I love the Halloween updates! Been playing the Halloween updates since 2020 and they are my favourite alongside the adopt me Halloween updates and bloxburg. They get me in the spooky mood and it is tradition for me to play them every year just like the Christmas updates. I can’t wait for it to come out but I’m trying to be patient 🧡

I treat royale high as a comfort game and I love playing it but I am human and I do get bored, upset, or mad with a game that I’ve been patiently waiting for an update that might never come. I love royale high and I know I will still play it no matter what but I can’t deny that I’m mad at the developers for taking so long on what is mainly a reused update with a few add ons. I understand the school situation because bugs and glitches happen and they can probably take a while to figure out. Im just not sure if they take 2 months with a whole team of developers to solve it. The truth is not even half of the school is out when we were promised ALL of it would be out by the end of summer and now it’s October. We were also promised a Halloween update and now it’s the 7th of October and still nothing. 🤦♀️

This my personal view about the halloween update. They should add wickery cliffs then they can add the new ways to get candy. Kinda like adopt me i saw a video of how they are going to add more updates in a random amount of days.

Why feel bad for the Devs? This is their JOB. Their MAIN INCOME and they suck at it. (Timing/publishing) and they keep their student/community in the dark and don’t even properly conduct Royal High. This is WHY THE GAME is dying. First, they can’t even do anything right with campus 3, now this. They’re beginning to get lazy, I truly hope the game dies and loses a bunch of players so they get off their butts and do something.
@@flawless414 first of all, they work hard and they spend a LOT of time on making new realms especially since the new royal high has come out . Second of all, there is a lot of pressure being put on them by the the community. Third of all, everyone is waiting , hence the second one , for Wickery cliffs and we all know that loads of people play royal high and yes most likely they will lose a lot of players but there will still be loads .

@@flawless414 I agree. If they need more help, they should just hire full time people to help out. Preparation is the most important thing when it comes to maintaining games. More people = higher chance of better preparation(that is if they start preparing better for updates).

Bloxburg has a whole team now but used to only have a couple of people working on it, like TWO or something like that!! How is it that Bloxburg can get new content out for every single update when Royale high, with an infinitely bigger development team, can’t even get one out.

I miss when Royale High would give sneak peaks and actual date times for their updates instead of giving us absolutely nothing. You'd think they get their updates out on time and have a certain date when it should be done based on how big their dev team is, but nope. We are giving almost little to nothing about anything going on anymore and I can't see people staying for long anymore. Royale High was fun while it lasted 🥲
