This was my true experience. When I was a graduate student, I was at an open field studying in one late afternoon. As I walked back to the library, I came upon a homeless man. He asked for a spare change. I could have ignored him and walked straight to the library. However, I didn't. I reached inside my pocket and realized my wallet was not in my pocket. At that moment, I knew I dropped my wallet where I'd been studying. I said to the homelessness man, "I don't have my wallet, but wait here, I'll be back." I ran back to where I sat and sure enough, my wallet was on the ground. No one had picked it up even though a lot of people were there playing sports, walking, jogging, running, etc. I picked up my wallet and checked it. Everything was still there. I walked back and gave all of my cash in my wallet that day to the homeless man. I didn't even count it, but it's not much. I was a graduate student and was poor at the time. If I had not encountered the homeless man, I would not have known that my wallet was gone. A simple act of kindness saved me a lot of grief and time that day.
Dang this kid is enlightened in being so considerate and self aware of being fortunate for what he has. So young but he already knows what it means to be loving and giving to others who are less fortunate. He’s the kid but teaching the adults on how to be a better person. 💕
Sir, your son is absolute God sent!! He has the heart of Buddha! You have no idea how lucky you are. This cannot be taught to kids. They are either kind, generous and possess a great deal of humility or not.
Vim neb txoj niag kev khav theeb ntag lauv ob niag niam txiv qia qia dub aw...Paub lawm los tsi tau hnov ib tus txiv tsev es mus nug nai khu seb puas pom nqa khoom mus rau cov menyuam txom nyem no wow!!!
Acts of kindness is a leaned behavior. He must have leaned it in school to love and share since it wasn’t taught at home. When my daughter was younger we were poor but she always share he lunch w friends who didn’t have food or buy them lunch. Had had bare minimum but at least she has lunch and as a mom I want her eat a full meal but for her to share her meal is a more valuable lesson.
Wow! A child had an epiphany while the adults were still selfish. A child taught you kindness? Wow! I had my epiphany very early too. In life, if you have not helped anyone without any expectation of ever getting anything in return, you have never helped anyone. Kindness is a service to others and service to others gives life its meaning. If you understand that kindness is a service to others, then you'll understand that wealth does not equate to money.
Good you learn a lesson...tus muaj ib txwm saib tsis tau tus pluag ..yus muaj los thov saib tau tus pluah thiab thiaj tsis npam yus yuslub neeb tjiaj tsis pluag
Koj muaj nyiaj kawg cas ho cia your children go to public school instead of go to private school….plus your son right, love everyone, poor people they have their own gift of love and help other people, richer people or claim to be richer and popular they need you when you have money if you don’t have money then they don’t know you and your wife change
Nobody will care about you except your immediate family (maybe). Money cannot buy sickness or extend your life, but it sure come in handy. Your son is generous but he doesn't know how to manage money. Maybe a few friends will remember your kindness, but not every one will return the favor. Save your money for raining days.
Sounds like you didn’t learn anything from this story!😂 He didn’t say his son gave away every dime he had. The son gave what he can and gave generously to a select few but kindness and service to others is at the heart of the story. Give but give wisely when you are in a position to be able to do so.
This Hmong man/father is so selfish and greedy doesn’t learn anything from his young son. Hmong people please don’t look down on poor people and only choose rich people to marry

You’re lucky to have a son like him when you didn’t teach him to love others. It’s okay to love others. Your son is an angel.
I'm a great son and also an angel looking for a lucky girl like you
Love this story! We need more people like your son to teach people how to be humble. Bless his heart! ❤

Beautiful inspiring story. Not many kids think like your kids. Be glad he knows how to love others beside himself and his family.
He's truly a angel. Your the lucky one❤

I love this story. Some children are better than parents and need to be taught.
God humble you through your son.

Being humble is a gift something the Dad doesn't have. Not everyone is humble.
