That "peculiar looking aircraft" is called a tilt rotor aircraft. Thank you Google!! Fantastic video!! I loved that approach into Tromso. Spectacular!!
What's neat is that I think your turbulence was actually wake turbulence. You can see that you start experiencing it just as you also start to be able to see a contrail from a previous plane.
I remember, a few years ago, I flew from Copenhagen to Newark via Stockholm Arlanda. Our flight to Stockholm was about 1/2 delayed because the power cart used to start the engines didn’t work. As a result, the pilots had to start them using internal power. I was a little bit nervous because I did not have that much time in Stockholm to catch my connecting flight to Newark. However, when we landed in Stockholm, My connecting flight was only about two gates down. I made it but they had already started boarding. It was a close one! However, I knew that if I would’ve missed the flight, Scandinavian Airlines will have to put me up on another flight or give me a nice hotel room in order to catch a flight the next day. However, I made it. People, don’t forget that, just because Boeing messed up with the 737 MAX 8, that the 737 is a dangerous airplane. It’s not. I believe that it’s one of the greatest airplanes ever built. It’s rugged, strong. It does a lot of takeoffs and landings in complete safety.
Went traveling that day that this video was uploaded it was originally Oslo to Alta but we couldn’t land because of poor visibility so we flew to Tromsø and waited on the ground for 2 hours then they said they would fly back to Oslo and send us with a plane to Alta the next day.
Cool! It's an awesome city surrounded by stunning nature. At this time of the year you have a good chance to catch the aurora borealis. Safe travels! This flight landed 1:25 PM =)

I thought so too, but they actually made an announcement saying the winds were changing. I just didn't manage to record it. Haha!

BOTH thumbs UP > GREAT Job!

AirlineTraveller Thank! I’m flying with Widerøe’s new Embraer E2 btw. Have you flown on it yet?
Cool! The E2 is a very interesting aircraft. I have flown with it indeed. You will find a flight video of Widerøe's E2 on my channel.
Er du fra Tromsø?
Nei :)
Jeg ønsker deg en behagelig fly Med SAS og Star Alliance!
Tusen takk, og takk så mye for at du så på =)
Wonder why it was 19 rather than 01?
Wind directions 😬
AirlineTraveller we landed the same way on 19 back on 03 Jan this year.
Circle-to-land
If by circling you mean half a circle north of Tromsø =D
