So get the feeling of being boring without a drink when I go out... but on Tuesday I was out walking with my dog and I met ( for the first time ever) I lady and we started chatting with a few minutes we were laughing our heads of having such a great time. We swapped numbers and she called yesterday morning and said she was in the area again did I want a coffee. We met up again at 11am in a coffee bar and talked and laughed and got a bit tearful at times as we talked about so many ‘real’ emotions and experiences. Yesterday afternoon I got to thinking about this ‘ I’m boring without a drink ‘ yet it’s obviously all in my head. Also maybe it’s more about who I’m with than myself as with my new friend there was never a dull minute. Not all laughing but just real honest chatter . I think also because she doesn’t know my drinking history it wasn’t an issue. Anyway just thought I’d share love you guys to bitty little bits. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The most boring thing is someone drunk repeating themselves over and over and laughing at their own jokes lol! Good on you Nadia you showed immense will power in what must have been a very difficult situation at the NTAs when it’s almost expected for the celebrities to cane it! Mark cannot believe how very very hard it must be daily for you, not just with the alcohol but avoiding the sugar, at this time of year to boot! I’m sending a massive hand to you to pat your back, you deserve nothing but praise how you battle things yet continue to be so naturally funny and witty, articulate, intelligent and good all round kind hearted guy, so anyone who in the past called you boring for not drinking in my mind has a huge problem themselves! Well done both of you, your awesome sauce! 💕👍🕊🌈
Mark, you're so honest you're just like us all we need locks on our kitchen. It's Human Nature at the end of the day we just can't fight it. LOL.
Oh Mark, at the end of this I completely related.... Waiting till everyone has gone out or to bed and eating what you know you shouldn't. Addictive personalities need an addiction, if I'm not working it's food... I'm addicted to both. I've been doing some gardening (landscaping) which keeps me from eating. My advice is go outside, start sorting the garden for spring and focus. Veg plots need attending now, landscaping is perfect this time of year (if you can get the spade in the ground!) preparing for the arrival of better weather just seems to make me feel it's all going to be okay. 😊 Take care. When your the most pissed mate on nights out your usually everyone's wallet , I don't drink so I people watch and I notice the loud drunk in the group is always at the bar buying all the drinks maybe that's why marks mate was worried about nights out no longer being paid for , there you go nadia up there for thinking 😂😂 may I also say you and the loose girls looked stunning last night 💃🏽💃🏽

Mark your not in the head space at the minute to totally change your eating habits. Do a five day healthy and two days with some meals you crave, or just slowly make changes it's not all or nothing just saying. Enjoyed vlog 😊

That banana bread looked lovely. I have some bananas nice and black ready to make one. I had to put them out of reach or my 7yr old daughter would of ate them before they turned nice and ripe.

Over ripe bananas are preferable LOL. Seriously though black spotty bananas are supposed to be really good at preventing cancer but not so good if you have diabetes.
Less black does make sense, I get what you mean, I love making banana cake, I am awful and put soo much sugar in it to. I need to stop putting so much sugar in.

Nadia, I love your vlogs and totally applaud what you're doing with '100 days sober' but it jars with me a bit when I think (maybe stupidly!) it's not as if you would usually be '100 days drunk'!? I'm sure that's not what you're saying and I guess what I'm trying to say is, if it's just a glass of wine when you fancy or the odd G&T here and there - what harm is there in doing that in moderation? It's a bit like giving up chocolate or smoking - the minute you deny yourself, ALL you can think about is having the one thing you know you can't have. These are just my thoughts on your journey and I'm more than happy for you to set me straight on your reasons for your decision. Also, I have to thank your for getting my bum into gear - wanted to lose 7lbs and have lost just over 4lbs in 4 weeks which has all been down to your positive attitude and the motivation you give others. A little bit of what you fancy does you good! Less in, more out!
