there's even a really old surf map that got ported to tf2 that has that exact thing you're talking about. surf_10x_tf2_complete has these ponds scattered everywhere (and lots of other water elements too) so its not uncommon to see pyrosharks camping at them. its easy to kill them since they usually just cut corners to get to you in the fastest way possible and hardly dodge
