*One of the best years for easter eggs in a while.* 2025 is looking to be an unbelievable year for easter eggs with all the games coming out. Before the year gets going though, I wanted to look back at my favourite easter eggs from 2024. Please let me know if there's any I missed that you would have put on here. I'd love to know!
I love the idea of playing a gory shooter and then being forced to play Viscera Cleanup Detail in the room you just decimated. You can always count on Ultrakill for the killer easter eggs!! 😂
@@FunWithGuru In the same secret level you played in ultrakill (7-S) there is this secret place where if y ou use your railgun and like when you get to the cleaning part im pretty sure if you go back there it becomes luigi mansion.
That Skidibi Toilet one is genuinely horrifying. For every time you shoot it, it gets bigger and doesn’t stop following you all the while singing the dang song.

Guru’s editing is like no other. I adore the careful attention to audio, there’s no dialogue, so you’re just free to bump the environmental sounds and make the video feel extra immersive. So satisfying
i think the one thing ive loved the most throughout the many years ive been watching your videos, is that repetition is so damn minimal. every video feels fresh and new, and its constantly new things you havent seen before. i remember a lot of the easter egg videos, back in like 2015 or so, they always had the same 10-15 eggs in every single one of them, but not yours. your content is really like no other, and you've stayed as one of my absolute favorite channels through such a long time. I hope 2025 gives you yet another fantastic year for both the channel and life!
Have to say, that ultrakill Easter egg shocked me as your number 1 at first, but the moment you announced that it became viscera cleanup detail, I was floored. The level of effort to program that in, is crazy. Also, my man, you and Hobbes Sakuga are the absolute best for video soundtracks. Ending your last 2024 vid with a dreamy ICO track really is just a perfect mood.

One of my New Year's resolutions is to start doing my own easter eggs more. I still do them, but they're less frequent. I hope to do a video showcasing them later this year.
Movie easter eggs aren't as common or exciting as video game easter eggs, but I still think about making movie videos again. I used to mainly do them for Pixar and Marvel movies... but I'm not very interested in them anymore.

I believe that Helldivers easter egg actually came from Reddit. When the game launched, someone posted how disapointed they were that there was nothing on the other side. They added the easter egg in a later patch.

That would be a great idea for a full game. Messier weapons could do more damage but take longer to clean up
