This version was Jimmy Hart Demo. However a version with Vince also exists just for fun, never used publically, recorded way after 2000 when I wasn't watching Wrestling anymore! I knew Shawn didn't debut with Sexy Boy. It wasn't ready. I recall some kind of instrumental but never heard it ever since. This clip was the first time in 30 yrs. It actually did happen in Mexico in 1991, in the Toreo de Cuatro Caminos arena in Mexico City, with their masked characters, Blue Blazer and Pegasus Kid respectively.

They could had faked out wrestlers with the other 2 turtles. I mean, the dead giveaway would had been the colors of course. But they could had made an excellent faction run in WWE
I actually heard a story a while back that the reason they never did a female shield angle with Anya is because she was too well endowed as a female shall we say and had trouble staying in the costume during an earlier costume dress run. Which ended up with them deciding to scrap the angle all together in fear of this happening live during the PG era. Don't know if that's true or not. But damn I wouldn't have cared haha😆😆 I just like Paige and wanted to see her in that roll.
Cinema Macabro It was horrible. He was kind of cooling off and some braintrust said to wear a helmet to the ring. The lampshade. Hogan was just as bad.

John Cena Look it up. There’s one Sherri sang, and then the one Shawn himself did. The version played in this video wasn’t used by WWF that I can find. I own the cd, it isn’t WWF made
I think a women's version of the shield would have been great. I don't think WWE really uses the women's division to their full potential. A women's shield could create an opportunity for more women to break through and form rival teams.
Fact is, the women's division will NEVER be used to its full potential, sad to say. The "male gaze" is too firmly encoded in human DNA for that to happen. There will be more T&A-style wrestling about 20-25 years from now, mark my words - partly out of a sense of nostalgia and partly out of backlash. It might not be in WWE anymore, but SOMEONE will be doing it. And it will find a sizable audience.
**CORRECTION...** HBK had the "Sexy Boy" theme he's had since the first time his gimmick was put together. First sung originally by Sherri & then later by Michaels (what's heard to this day). The one you mentioned done by Jim Johnston was a bonus track on the Volume 2 CD (Name I can't recall at this time, but i'll get back to you on it) that came out after the first which was 👉🏽 WWF Full Metal (The First CD with Theme Music outside of getting a tape of the theme music when a person signed up for the WWF Fan Club, back in the late 1980’s.) You info on this part wasn't accurate, in this instance.
Actually you're wrong, too. It's not even WWE made. No one from WWE had anything to do with it, Jim Johnston ALSO had nothing to do with it. I know for a FACT that it's a fan-made cover song made by a group that sells cover song albums of wrestler themes, tv show and cartoon theme songs. I know this for a fact because I bought it and others for $1.99 years ago.
Yeah I am shocked that such a well known info got narrated wrong in this video. It was Jimmy Hart's voice, not Jim Johnston! However you are wrong as well. His very first appearances wasn't with Sherri and Sexy Boy Theme. This was under development. Only rare jobber matches few remember in his case the video narrator is right again. Not really a scrap over com the Narcissist Lex Luger rather the other way around as Lex debut many months after solo Shawn!
I've been out of the loop since the Edge Vickie angle up until summer of 2018. Man what were they thinking trying to keep Rhodes as Stardust?! That would've been a great way to change things up!
HBK's first theme was not a ripoff of the Narcissist theme. It's a classical piece called Rhapsody in Blue, also known as the United Airlines commercial theme.

SeasideDetective2 - Yeah, but they ruined the Nexus so badly though, not giving the group any title runs was a huge mistake. Even John Cena agreed that not giving Wade Barret at the time the WWE title was a mistake. But not only that, the Nexus never won any titles, which would’ve made them stand out as the dominant faction in WWE. Had Nexus been allowed to hold the titles(even for the sake of a kayfabe title reign) it would’ve made them look dominant and unstoppable, like how so many great wrestling factions were established in the past. They all held gold. The Nexus had a great rise, but they could’ve been elevated even higher if they had been given the titles and stood tall over WWE, and brought the show under their control NWO style. Hopefully if they ever revisit the Nexus faction, hopefully they learn from their mistakes and make a new Nexus group truly unstoppable and dangerous. Imagine Shield vs Nexus?
I legit never realized that Kane never made any "official" appearances with his cape. I've always known about it and had seen that clear picture, and I always thought he had worn it to some random show that I forgot about lol
A couple things about the Benoit entry. The photo isn't really that rare, it ran in one of the Apter mags when it happened. from the rumours going around at the time the reason he wasn't signed was because WCW offered him more money. WWE's plan for Benoit was for him to be the Ringmaster
That hbk theme was off of a generic wrestling CD, there were companies that would release mock wrestling themes and that was one of them, I grew up in that generation and I clearly remember that, and as far back as I can remember Shawn never used that as his theme
Dropping the Hulk Hogan "War Bonnet" was quite possibly one of the best decisions the WWE has ever made. It's usually not a good idea to make your top star in the company look like he's mentally handicapped, especially not one who's as ridiculously huge as Hogan was. I imagine that the Ninja Turtles idea was probably scrapped *only* due to concerns of being sued. I say this because the idea is such a perfect fit for the WWE, which has been a cartoon/comic book come to life ever since Vince Jr. took over. Hell, they even had an actual WWF cartoon in the late 80's, and I think they either did another cartoon some years back or were going to. Anyway, kids back then (such as myself) would have loved this, but they would have alienated most of their adult fans. (Vince may have actually cared about alienating his fanbase back then too, although he clearly doesn't care about that now.) Kane is one of many, many comic book type characters that WWE has had over the years, so that cape really should have worked well for him. It does look great as far as matching with the rest of his attire. Even though it looks a bit out of place somehow, it's probably just because I'm not used to seeing him like that. Still, the cape really wouldn't have made a difference anyway. His career would have been the same regardless.
Here's a very very interesting one that would actually fit the title with no hyperbole whatsoever _(yes, little dig there - come on, the "you won't believe" rubs people the wrong way when we're talking about a cape on Kane)_ I wish I could actually confirm the veracity of this but I'll always remember how around the late 90s/early 2000s somebody on a message board posted how they'd attended a house show and been shocked to hear Earl Hebner grab a mic and say _"If you ain't white, you ain't right"_ I don't recall the context anymore but the poster said "I didn't know Hebner was a racist" whereas I always took it as being a trial run of what would have been a very stupid and ill advised racist ref gimmick (or perhaps he'd be a manager or something). No trace of this ever did make it to TV, and no Kerwin White doesn't count, so I've been left wondering all these years just what the hell that was all about. I'm not inclined to believe that the guy just fabricated his very specific report, but I realise that when hearing about it third hand it's going to be easy for people now to dismiss it. I'd love to get to the bottom of it.
Actually, no. That's fake and not WWE made. It's not from Vol 2, it's from a Cover Song knockoff album by a group who makes other cd's of cartoon and tv show theme song covers as well. It's totally unauthorized, NOT WWE produced and never has been. I know for a fact because I bought it for $1.99 years ago where they had other albums of things as well.
If they booked it differently, Shayna Baszler's group in NXT could be a female Shield. They have the look and sense of unity, they just don't pounce on people the same way, even though they do have the level of ruthlessness that could make it work.
(4:08) Is that really the best picture they could use for an iTunes cover? I'm sure if they waited a few seconds his wonky eye would have aligned properly.
That version of Shawn Michaels theme was never intended for use it was an alternate version put on a CD with a bunch of other alternate versions of themes and released more than 5 years after Shawn Michaels heel debut. You should do better research.
That Narcissist style theme didn't fit Michaels at all. I have my doubts about that alternate Sexy Boy theme being recorded before the Sherri version, but it was featured on WWF the Music Volume 2

I want a full version of Sexy Boy with Vince on vocals.
Can we get the Behind the Titantron videos a little quicker please
(4:08) Is that really the best picture they could use for an iTunes cover? I'm sure if they waited a few seconds his wonky eye would have aligned properly.
In the wwa they had bananas in pajamas
That Cody Rhodes idea seemed like a good one tho..To bad they didn't go with that...A female Shield would be pretty cool right now in WWE.
'los boricuas' had a theme they only used for one entrance.
#9 Absolution on Raw.
I liked Kane's cape!
Me too! would had been a HIT even today!
releasing this after Raw and Smackdown both debuted a female trio stable....
Love the proto shawn michaels theme
That version of Shawn Michaels theme was never intended for use it was an alternate version put on a CD with a bunch of other alternate versions of themes and released more than 5 years after Shawn Michaels heel debut. You should do better research.
I thought it was Michael Hayes singing...
that vinnie mac shawn michaels song gave me chills
Le40oz
Up and down your spine?
everywhere
haha Uncle Vinnie singing "Sexy Boy"
They DIDN'T scrap the female shield because it's on BOTH Smackdown AND Raw
the turtles worked in mexico
on my PS2 game
SMACKDOWN vs RAW
2008
I built the
TMNT
and they were cool
A Chris Benoit-Owen Hart match happened?!
That Narcissist style theme didn't fit Michaels at all. I have my doubts about that alternate Sexy Boy theme being recorded before the Sherri version, but it was featured on WWF the Music Volume 2
Teenage mutant wresting turtles doesn't quite roll off the tongue.
Please do more if you can find more.
