Indeed! Thought it strange that these guys had no idea. Saying "he is going to go slow or crash". First time in a ride that did not fit him and he is running 1 second behind all of their experience. In one week he would be competitive; In two weeks he would be on the podium; In three weeks he would be in the winners circle. He is not only that good, he is that competitive.

Cleetus has run some types of lesser horsepower cars at his track also but he adapted real quick to the great difference in horsepower and knows how to respect it. Very smooth with the steering also even though it might have appeared not in the incar camera. All around very impressive. He did it for Dale #3 no doubt. Joseph shouldn’t be surprised if he gets a invite to any of his races at the freedom factory. Thanks HTF 🇺🇸🏁☝️
Ill be honest i didn't know who you were or your channel existed until Cleet posted the video. But im here for a reason i like the enthusiasm and good spirits you all have as a group it strongly reminds me of cleeters group its just a bunch of dudes helping out other dudes who pretty much live on race gas and g force so it was a match made in heaven. But 1 thing i can say not only can cleetus drive a racecar he can operate anything you put in front of him. You can tell by the way that it is 👌 im a payloader operator on the farm but its no different than driving anything else.. If its movable myself and good ol cleeter will at bare minimum attempt it. I raced quad motocross for 6 years starting when i was 16. But my dad had me on multiple 200 or higher mile snowmobile trips when i was a year and a half old and everything after lol. Literally i have the photo album at my moms. I love watching cleetus because i can relate to him im so blown away by his passion for adrenaline and precision at the same time while also being wild and sometimes just uncontrollable 🤣🇺🇲 just too much freedom brother you know the deal. Lol but the main thing is Mind Control and letting yourself try new things but also having the amount of seat time on just anything with an engine is excellent experience and a young racing background isnt needed im told it is by so many people but us as humans dont just stop learning we stop because of priorities, practicality "sometimes" and passion. If you dont have those 3 things minimum you wont last racing anything i can vouch. So hats off to you and the crew and cleetus's as well for continually putting out great enjoyable content even if the video was expected to go great then fails lol the ability to take failure and use it and not let it phase you is. Huge and only some people have ALL those things so im happy this happened and im so pumped for both groups my guess says cleetus would podium minimum once within his first 5 races and i feel horrible for even saying 5. I feel like the 2nd race ever hed dominate but i know where that confidence gets a guy as well so lets all just be cool and let nature take its course 👌🇺🇲 DO IT FOR DALE🤘

The dude can drive a race car, LEGIT! To come within a second of being truly competitive is one thing, maybe after 1000 laps. But to do that within such an incredibly short time after first laying eyes on the car, is truly amazing. It would be interesting to have Joseph run some laps in one of the other Late Models and see what happens without any setup etc. Kudos to you guys for taking all of us along.

Watching the left rear wheel well as Garrett goes around, DAYMN that chassis lifts a ton going thru the turns. We know that's the way it's supposed to work,, just like it is in any form offf motor sports, it's all about power, tires and weight transfer to make fast and quick laps. Straight line or around corners, gotta keep the tires planted or all the power in the world's go'n NO-WHARE. Garrett was born a natural pilot,, give that boy a power plant, a chassis, four tires and a steering wheel and he'll impress ya with his natural born talent. Thank you fellers for allowing Garrett wheel one of your hotrods. He's yet another awesum memory to share with his Grandkids fo sho!
I'll never forget my first time in a late model. Real little motor by today's standards, but in 2003 it was extremely competitive at 770 hp. I was still shaking the next day.

Been a fan of cleetus for a while and found Jesse on twitch a little while ago. Loved the collaboration and would love to see cleetus in a late model race or Joseph and Jesse as a team in 2.4 hours of le mullets.

I come from cleets fan base just wanna say it was really dope to see your teams point of view on how he did with a late model. I’m definitely subbing y’all got my attention and respect keeping it real even thou he comes from asphalt I’m definitely enjoying the dirt content an I hope to see more as well as the dirt community grow. I love both asphalt an dirt I get down an dirty in both surfaces only problem is that I can only afford to enjoy one surface at the moment it every time my friend invite me out to the dirt I always have the best time.

Great video, would love the audio downmixed to mono. Watching on my phone kinda gave me audio whiplash. Cleetus is a great driver no matter what you put him in. I think it would be awesome to see him doing some dirt track racing professionally but I know he’s got a super busy schedule between his Cleetus and cars events, keeping up with his track, and drag racing. Great job Cleeter, after 20 years in dirt & a few years watching your channel & HTF, I just knew you would fall in love/lust with super late models. Wait till you get in traffic mate, it will blow your bolt. This video shows how well Joseph & team can set up a car for the dirt. In case Johnathan wasn't aware, this will prove to be utube gold for both teams, between 2 very popular channels. I reckon Johnathan should drive the freedom 500, he will show the other guys how to be comfortable in TRAFFIC.I think his skill & experience are most often overlooked while he holds the camera. Maybe we all underestimate the depth of skills in both these channels teams. Co-lab eh?? Awesome.

I don't have a race car to lend to someone but Garrett has respectfully proven to be capable. I saw the Knoxville nationals years ago but those in car views of this one really gave this division of cars and dirt racing a whole new perspective. Subscribed 👍

He’s always going to be behind the top drivers that have been doing this for years but I’d like to see him somewhere in the middle like open wheel modified. I might be partial because modified’s have always been my favorite class to watch

He did good ! most people cant understand why he was letting off in the corners until you turn laps in a late Model you will not understand lol my first laps in a Late Model at the age 15 I could not stay on the gas to save my life lol My God father told me he would wire the gas pedal down if I dont stay on the gas and buddy I squinted my eyes and held on tight and put the pedal to the floor lol It takes seat time to learn the car I was 20 before I ran my first full season GREAT VIDEO GUYS GOOD LUCK!!!
I can only imagine what it feels like when you see that wall in front of you, and you have to trust the car when you keep your foot down. Always wanted to try it, but never been near a dirt track.
That's insane he did that good on dirt (first time) in a super at Bristol no less. Add some cars door to door and see how he does. Ole Cleet might have the throttle control. Like Kenny Schrader said " there is 0 to 100 on the throttle pedal. Its everything in between that matters". Great job HTF and Cletus!
Glad I found your channel via Cletus. I used to go to Lernervilla PA with my Dad when I was a kid and watch World of Outlaws and dirt track racing. After watching this it brought back some great memories and I think I’d like to take my boy to a track to watch a race.

I wish I knew y'all was a channel. Mr. Wreck them all (Cleetus) got me turned on to y'all. I'm real glad. He drives like me. We can drive anything, anytime and look awesome. Then Sunday comes. I blame it on needing to get to work on Monday. He works at a track though. I got a reason. I live in Oregon. There hasn't been real racing here for years!

Been a fan of cleetus for a while and found Jesse on twitch a little while ago. Loved the collaboration and would love to see cleetus in a late model race or Joseph and Jesse as a team in 2.4 hours of le mullets.

I come from cleets fan base just wanna say it was really dope to see your teams point of view on how he did with a late model. I’m definitely subbing y’all got my attention and respect keeping it real even thou he comes from asphalt I’m definitely enjoying the dirt content an I hope to see more as well as the dirt community grow. I love both asphalt an dirt I get down an dirty in both surfaces only problem is that I can only afford to enjoy one surface at the moment it every time my friend invite me out to the dirt I always have the best time.

Great video, would love the audio downmixed to mono. Watching on my phone kinda gave me audio whiplash. Cleetus is a great driver no matter what you put him in. I think it would be awesome to see him doing some dirt track racing professionally but I know he’s got a super busy schedule between his Cleetus and cars events, keeping up with his track, and drag racing. I don't have a race car to lend to someone but Garrett has respectfully proven to be capable. I saw the Knoxville nationals years ago but those in car views of this one really gave this division of cars and dirt racing a whole new perspective. Subscribed 👍

He’s always going to be behind the top drivers that have been doing this for years but I’d like to see him somewhere in the middle like open wheel modified. I might be partial because modified’s have always been my favorite class to watch

He did good ! most people cant understand why he was letting off in the corners until you turn laps in a late Model you will not understand lol my first laps in a Late Model at the age 15 I could not stay on the gas to save my life lol My God father told me he would wire the gas pedal down if I dont stay on the gas and buddy I squinted my eyes and held on tight and put the pedal to the floor lol It takes seat time to learn the car I was 20 before I ran my first full season GREAT VIDEO GUYS GOOD LUCK!!!
I can only imagine what it feels like when you see that wall in front of you, and you have to trust the car when you keep your foot down. Always wanted to try it, but never been near a dirt track.

That's insane he did that good on dirt (first time) in a super at Bristol no less. Add some cars door to door and see how he does. Ole Cleet might have the throttle control. Like Kenny Schrader said " there is 0 to 100 on the throttle pedal. Its everything in between that matters". Great job HTF and Cletus!

Glad I found your channel via Cletus. I used to go to Lernervilla PA with my Dad when I was a kid and watch World of Outlaws and dirt track racing. After watching this it brought back some great memories and I think I’d like to take my boy to a track to watch a race.
