Sir I watched your videos explaining about NPS. Waiting for your video of derailed comparison of ops vs nps vs ups with example. It will help so many employees to make decesion while switching from ops to ups.
Sir i am in great confusion regarding my mutual fund portfolio. Always used to switch here and there for best mutual funds for long span above 10 years. Kindly help me. Right now my portfolio has Sbi small cap, Sbi contra fund and Sbi magnum midcap.
Hello. Kindly consult a financial advisor, they can help you understand & suggest the ideal portfolio after reviewing your assets, income, goals, risk profile & more
Could you share your thoughts on ET Money Genius? Is rebalancing a portfolio on a monthly basis truly beneficial? I'm particularly curious about their strategy, which suggests investing solely in index funds across large, mid, and small caps. While I agree that index funds are great for large caps, is the same true for mid or small caps, compared to actively managed funds in those categories? I'm aiming to invest in a goal-based manner, so as I get closer to my goal, I want to ensure my allocations shift toward more stable assets.
SIR MERA EK QUERY H PLZ ANS MENE ABHI 20k ki sip shuru kari h or mujhe 15lakh dalne h for longer period ab me kese dalu 20k sip plus 50k total 70k sip ya koi or stratagy h
I have a postal life insurance and Ap gli it is a Government life insurance my question is should I take term insurance plan ,I am a Government employee
Glad you had a good experience with them! I found the consultant who helped me very good & as I have insurance knowledge, she was tested a bit but top marks to her
Sorry, I don't know the specific rules. Maybe you can stop paying premiums for some time and pull out your monies after the lockin period (5 years). You should consult a financial planner/advisor for the same
@shankarnath: Sir UPS and NPS mein kya behtar hain. Main last 11 yrs bank mein huin and 30K investment hota hain including employer contribution and corpus 28L bana hua hain. Abhi UPS aya hain and Hume NPS ya UPS mein ek chunna hain. Bohot confused hain kya sahi hoga. Please guide
dear shankar sir, great insights as usual. being a staff welfare officer in my college I had the opportunity to implement Group Insurance in my collge . I was able to remove waiting periods for pre existing diseases, plus the premium were quite low. actually it all depends on the integrity of the administration . I was fortunte enough ( may be clever enough 🙂 ) to have a honest admin staff. moreover after 5 years when the group was dissolved, the insurance company offered the members to continue the plan individually with even lower premiums. but any way thanks a lot for your valuble suggestions sir. its always a pleasure to hear your rational thoughts. warm regards.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I've worked in a life insurance company so I have an idea of the issues & complaints that come through when working on a group insurance plan. You had an advantage here -- it was a college (a closed group). The situation changes when its an open group (yes, in group insurance we have something called closed and open group) and there is no honest admin to care for the members.
@@shankarnath 100% agree sir. moreover if its a govt college then its really simple to adhere to the rulebook and since no private insurer was invited made the things clear and simpler. thanks for enlightnening us as most of the educated people like me are financially illitrate . 😃
Hi. I recently watched your ET money video on ULIPS . I have been investing for 1 year. Once i calculated the rate it is found to be around 23%. Is it possible to have this much returns?
Yes, absolutely. UL in ULIP stands for unit linked i.e. market linked. So, if you have a decent allocation to equities within your ULIP construct (can be as high as 100%), then your corpus would have received the advantage of the recent stock market run-up. Consequently the ULIP NAV would have risen, which is 23% in this case.
Can you pls elaborate the major 2-3 painpoints you went through in a life insurance claim process? Will be good to know so that people can be more aware & take corrective action
Nice explanation sir , clear and precise, Sir what are ur views on Patel engineering, from a profitable company to a debt company now government has given heavy orders and now joint venture with rvnl , do u think it will have a turn around story sooner or later sir ,
Section 45 wrongly explained Sir, It has been amended as under: A life insurance policy shall not be called in question on any grounds after it completes 3 years from- 1. The date of issuance of policy 2. The date of commencement of risk 3. The date of revival of the policy, or 4. The date adding a rider to the policy whichever of them is later. These conditions are subject to amendment from time to time.

Apologies, I am not an ET Money Genius user. I manage my portfolio & allocation by myself so don't use that service.
