i listened to it today, after not hearing it for a long time. i cried. especially the mix with MLK Jr. and it being covid - when so many wild animals seem to be multiplying in the "quiet" of humanity for the first time in too long. People have seeing whales in greater numbers breaching off the coast of San Francisco.

Purchased the DVD, watched in the home theater, and I was automatically taken back to my era. The sound enveloped me in comfort because Dolby was doing what he does best, and that is romance the keyboard and push his talent to an all new extreme high. He climbs Mt. Everest with each touch of the key...mammoth steps.

This song is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. I remember walking along the beach in the Dominican Republic listening to this song on my IPod...and belting out "And if love is all you're missing....look into your heart, is anybody home?" to basically the ocean and feeling like I was being lifted out of my body. And I wasn't even high! Thank you, Thomas. You are amazing!

@Stevie2112Rush Thanks for the video and the link. This man's music has made a difference at various points in my life, and it felt great to buy directly from him (assuming CD baby is his route of choice). It's a very small way of saying thank you for what his music has done for my soul. Music is the key that opens my soul and allows me to get a grip, channel a memory, or touch any emotion I desired. Thomas Dolby has been a part of the soundtrack of my life, and I am eternally grateful.

Everyone knows "She Blinded Me With Science." But this is Dolby's best. Haunting piano, lyrics, melody. This song always takes me to a special place -- a world created by the music. Especially the studio version with the opening atmospheric synth parts that sound like the earth slowly cracking -- or the internal noises of a slow moving glacier as it breaks apart deep inside. Emotionally moving. Songs like this don't come around everyday.
    Enormously underrated.
