- This is the initial review of the Lock 'N' Roll off road trailer hitch. So far i have mounted it and driven it on road and it has improved the smoothness of the ride. More reviews to come.
Short but to the point for us newbies. Very helpful. Would like to see how it all comes together.
How does this affect backing the trailer?
Thanks for the video, I am just exploring these and found this very helpful. I appreciate it.
I have on my off-road trailer rig and it is great. Way quieter than the ball hitch and a lot more secure.
I also find that I don't have to worry about someone stealing my trailer when I leave it for a short time lol.
Is there a follow up review? All I saw was an explanation of what it does. I might have missed something however. I'd highly recommend the McHitch if you're in need of an articulating off-road hitch.
Awesome you can roll your vehicle without rolling your trailer :)
Hey guys! I just noticed all these comments and have not had any notifications!?!?!
Part number? I have the same tongue 2" x 3" what part number did you order?
I get the impression it would be a nightmare to back up , with all that freedom of movement ?
Its actually pretty easy. I had no issues backing the trailer into my side lot.
How about that review, it's been 2 years.
Hey I'm sorry I just noticed all these comments! It's holding up great and I have even transferred it to other projects over the years.
How much did you pay for the set? Where did you purchase it? 2 years later, how's it holding up?
I cant remember how much I paid but it was money well spent. It's still great years later.
Nice! Do you have another video of it installed on your rig? Would like to hear your thoughts on it, I am thinking about getting this for mine.
i will be sure to update this for you! i have taken a few trips last summer with it so far. thanks for the comment and be sure to spread the word!
Don't drop it on your toe mr flip flop.
So what is the verdict? If you were to do it over again, would you use it? I have a Max Coupler that I haven't mounted yet and I'm thinking of the OzHitch or McHitch style over the Max Coupler merely for the increased tongue weight capacity. Where did you get that hitch?
I liked it so much that when I sold this trailer I requested to keep the hitch set! I'm not upgrading to the 3" wide trailer side for my next heavy duty trailer. You can find it online at the Lock n' Roll website.
Just got off the phone with him. Sent it to my fabricator and getting it put together next week. Boom. :)
how are you enjoying the hitch?
Please get a camera mount before you make another video, im dizzy.
