Endurance Match Within The Bloodline: Nero Vs Vergil

  • while messing with SSSiyan for the sake of sh!ts and giggles, I noticed a damage output setting and started to look into it to see how much of a difference reducing your own damage output has...So I tested it on Vergil.
    The rules are simple enough, Nero's damage output is reduced to 25%, while Vergil's is increased to 200%, which means a single divebomb or Judgement Cut End will IMMEDIATELY wipe out your health bar and usually spells death unless you have a completely full health bar with 20 segments even with Devil Trigger activated. When it comes to decreasing your damage output against Vergil, when set to too low of a value (I'd say any less than 20% damage), you'll begin to have your damage somewhat negated by Vergil's natural healing via Sin Devil Trigger, and even though I was using infinite DT and a constant Exceed level of 1, I still struggled because I'm honestly not that good at the game. My best advice if you want to try this yourself is stick with 25% and make sure you're constantly on the offensive while making sure you take as little damage as possible. To me, this feels like DMC4SE's GMD mod or maybe even DMC3 DMD.
