acheron got me for the coolest, most goosebump heavy ever trailer, and firefly's trailer is absolutely perfect for me, I paused at every single second of it just to look at every single bit of details, even though I already fully watched the whole trailer multiple times already, I took a whole ass 50 mins just thinking about firefly from the trailer, my emotions has never been this messed up in my entire life before. Firefly, I love you so much.
The fact that Black Swans' english VA is the same VA for Blake from rwby just fits so well. Also, Sparkle is totally Kurumi from date a live and I'd like someone to try and prove me wrong.
You can really tell when the budget for these went through the roof, lol. not to say the early ones are bad but there is a clear uptick in quality as time goes on.
Bronya and Seele being Skirmish Sisters, and Bronie playing Bronie are two of my favourite moments in these character trailers. Can you tell I'm a Captain? Nah, I'd put Otto two below Himeko, at least. I feel like considering he's Abundance, it would have been better if they'd showed him acting as part of a team They could have easily showed him healing Sushang. I basically have two requirements for any character trailer: It has to show the abilities, and it has to show the personality. Thelema, Black Swan, Rina... Mihoyo really loves to throw out a horror feel every now and again. In Rina's case, 'horror' is the theme of everyone in Victory Housekeeping, but for the others? Completely blindsided me with those choices. Also, Huo Huo makes sense considering her involvement with spirits. I don't remember whether they did a horror for _Genshin_ . As for _GGZ_ , the entire first ending was horror. Eldritch horror. _Tears of Themis_ ? Half the time I don't remember it exists. I'd like to know how many people play it.
Yanqing was cursed from the get go even his trailer straight garbage😭but for real can we appreciate how the quality of each trailer goes up over time. The trailer team really put their ussys into it with all the more recent trailers, the quality is insane!
Crazy how I disagree with almost every one of numi's takes lol blade is such a meh character to me that 90% of the time I forget he evens exists... and firefly's trailer was so underwhelming that it just solidified my decision to not pull for her 😅
