Throttle body isn't liquid cooled, all cars have this - it's to warm up the induction system to help with fuel vaporisation. Also to release connectors - push them in, press down the clips and pull out, they are designed to have to be pushed in to unhook them :)
Its to warm the throttle body, i see. First car i see it on. My saab, volvo and peugeot use exhaust gases for this/ heat from exhaust manifold. People on forums disconnect these to get more horse power. When gasoline vaporize it cools down, takes energy to go from one state to the other and this is to prevent it from icing when doing so if im correct. yes the clips can be loosened by hand but its easier with a small screwdriver.
@@droit2411 always unplug the battery when working on the car. Negative is safe and decrease the risk of shorts. The car computer can get damaged if you accedently short something out or just detects that you unplug things and give errors when starting up again. With no power those risks gets eliminated.
Nice stuff.
