Have an 2014 Activa . If it doesn't self start it won't kick start too. Just pull out choke and self in small intervals & press accelerator as soon as it get started.

@@RohitRoy-ev4fp what ever the condition is.. FI bikes don’t need accelerator input to start. Just press the starter & it will start. All modern FI motorcycles are equipped with ICV (idle air control valve) or stepper motor to control the air input when starting or idling…
But sir mere pass Hero mastero edge scooty hai jisme if I do not start with kick in the morning I face issue such as breakdown due to battery down. So in this scooty do I need to do kick start once every morning
In my bike unicorn 2017 model whenever i coldstart in any season i need to use choke for warming up the engine for some secs or else it doesn't start with kick or self. Is it ok or i need to check the carburettor settings?

If u use your bike daily,then there is no harm in cranking out by self in the morning but if use your bike only once or twice a week,then cold start should be done by kick only....this is bocz long term disuse causes d battery to discharge out and from bs4 as headlights are on throughout the time,so in the morning an additional load is carried out by the battery even during cranking the engine as the headlights become ON ....so my opinion is that COLD START sd b done by kick
@@bhatishwara winter is coming.....pls don't use yourBS4/6 bike for a couple of weeks and try to crank it after then.....u will get to know......bdw I owe a BS4 Thunderbird 350X since 2019 in which I don't ride regularly and my battery got discharged after a few weeks in d winters....but when I attached a headlight switch and started to kick start atleast in d morning,I didn't got the issue further.....so from my personal experience I am saying so

Bro just start your ntorq no need to throttle beacuse bs6 engine has fuel injection system means there's no choke so its ECU know when they throttle up or down so don't worry

Sir jo air cooled bikes hoti hain unko ap km se km harr 50 se 60km ke baad 15 yaan 20 min ka break de skte hain bike ko aur jitna mrzi chala le yeh rule follow krke aur agar apki bike liquid cooled hai toh non stop 100km tk bhi koi problem nhi aayegi because usme coolant aur fan apna kaam krte hain

Facing the same situation only in cold season. Not a big problem.

Ur theory doesn't hold good because newer bikes come with no kick start.

If yours is a genuine reason, manufacturers wouldn't bring out new models without kickers.

Bro just start your ntorq no need to throttle beacuse bs6 engine has fuel injection system means there's no choke so its ECU know when they throttle up or down so don't worry
