  • Yes, it is possible to create a WordPress user who can access WooCommerce orders, but nothing else. The key is to use the PublishPress Capabilities plugin.

I did this, but the user role can't see the orders, he can access the order page and see the number of orders on the head, but not the content in order to edit them.

Hello Steve, thank you for your content. If I were to make it more specific as in allow said user to create and manage only their own orders but have no access to any other others could that be possible?

Can we set up a role where a user can add their own products, edit only their own products, and manage orders on their own products? I am trying to create a site where there will be multiple vendors, and I would like them to handle their own products and orders within the site...

It sound like you may be talking about a custom plugin? If so, that would depend on the plugin. WooCommerce doesn't allow users to create customers?

Hi Bakra. I tested this on a 100% new site and it does still work. You may have something else installed on the site that's causing issues.

I managed to get an Order Manager to log in once and then it kicked me out. Any idea how to fix?

Hi Brendan. If users are being logged out like that, it's unrelated to PublishPress. There may be a session or cookie problem on the site.
