I recommend having a sheild beacuse its very good to have in the early game, beacuse its cheaper then armor and protects u from monsters and blocks creepers and skelletons, you equip the sheild by clicking E and puting it in your offhand, you use the sheild by right clicking
Remember that block where you can plant seeds? You can make that block with hoe (right click with hoe on grass) but you also need water nearby. (max distance with water is 4 blocks)
The hoe is used to make farmland. Farmland does need water next to it to be usable (like the village farm). If you light up the area around your new shack it will stop mobs spawning where there is light
making youre house having logs in the corner makes it look a bit better. i would recommend making the ceiling 1 block higher. oh some people might tell you axes are better for fighting mobs. they have more damage but take longer to reload. its only good for hunting farm animals since they can one shot them. hostile mobs=sword farm animals=axe

If you get a diamond pickax you can mine obsidian and make a portal to another dimension.. make a four block base and stack 3 on top on each side and make it a square then get flint and steel then light the portal and you will go the the neather
Dont beat the game in the next like 10 Episodes please, or just not in the next months at all. Rushing to beat it destroys the fun which is also why I think being able to "beat" Minecraft is a bad and un-Minecrafty thing. Everybody beats the game when they reach their personal goals and for Adventure Gamers and Speedrunners that might be the Ender Dragon (the beating the game he talked about in the original comment) but for most people it isnt and still they feel the pressure to do it just because it is the official beating. Long story short, beat the game in a few months or longer into the future, not in the next 10 weeks and dont beat it to beat it but beat it when it is a fun action for you.
@@junglebogged yeah thanks for the feedback mate, I don’t think I am capable of beating the game any time soon even if I wanted to 😂 but yeah im definitely not going to rush through it as I want to experience everything in Minecraft as it is all new to me

the biome you found that had oak trees but looked different is a swamp which has the potential but not always certain chance of spawning a witch hut

Placing torches around your house prevents mobs from spawning
Critical hit damages more with axes and the thing under the curser is like critic reload it hits more when its full with critical attacks
