all the deleted scenes of this film were epic but definitely not light hearted, It would have been better in my opinion. Also if anyone hasn't seen it there is a animation of the parents as kids playing together called "Gale Test" and it is the cutest thing ever as they basically play tag and Gale plays with them

Well the deleted song Home is at least very good and wholesome. I personally would have preferred that as the opening song because it’s showcases really well why Anna is a better fit for Arendale’s Queen

Of course the big Disney chief couldn’t have that so they had to change it. The story had so many problems which is strange considering how much time they had. The only deleted scene I would have liked to have seen was the one where Anna sees the Memory of the parents saying they were going to tell her about Elsa on their return. I Think she deserved to see that .
the more I hear about Frozen II, the more the conflict of Frozen I becomes senseless - shouldn't Iduna have taught Elsa how to use her powers correctly, even if in secret and Elsa feeling helpless and devastated after the death of their parents, because she lost her mentor figure *&* mother at the same time, which could also have been the reason for excluding Anna and leaving Arendel - Anna could have still go on her journey and get her heart frozen + it would have made the ending with sisterbond even stronger by Elsa recognizing that she had still family left until it was too late (kinda) - the accident at the beginning could have been the start of Elsa's teaching, which could have been also the reason why the sisters grew apart

Probably, those scenes are deleted because the Frozen 2's creators thought they don't need them in their film or those deleted scenes will add more time which make Frozen 2 become longer & not match with the cinema's rules.
For the younger kids purposes , some of these scenes might be too violent or too much, but for like 10 and up or something yes. I remember when I was younger some of the frozen 2 scenes made me cry lol. Don’t mind me I was 10 😅

If this was going to be an opening of the film I think the movie would've been better and given more depth of the seriousness of the war and then given more of a connection for the audience of Elsa and Anna's parents
They do that with a lot of Disney movies. Truth of the matter is this would’ve been a perfect scene just like Encanto in the original script for the movie the head of the family, she passes on in the whole point of that entire movie was the candle in the power of the house with a pest on to the granddaughter the power passing on, was part of the script at the end, but she wouldn’t inherit the whole candle and that’s the whole matriarchal spell of the house in the first place. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if she wasn’t at the wrong door with her abilities appeared I believe if she would’ve went to the front door, the house would’ve been earth in the first place at least that’s my opinion

If the villain disguised as a reindeer didn’t get to kill the king he would probably go for the next best thing which would be the queen/princess. Who is a reindeer that hangs around the queen and princess Sven Now I understand this makes no sense considering Kristof met Sven when they were both children but it would be cool if it was actually a detail included in the movie
Functionally that changes virtually nothing. Personally I'm a big fan of what the draft with I Seek the Truth had going on where Elsa is actively trying to solve the mystery of her mother's journal while wrestling with insecurities about her identity as queen. It would have made Show Yourself work better. It's a lovely song but confusing because what's the big reveal??? She KNOWS her powers are from her mother saving her father! ANNA SAYS IT OUT LOUD LIKE 2 SCENES BEFORE! Having her questions be directed to her mother and be about knowing who she's supposed to be makes the "be yourself!" message fit better.
If they did that elsa wouldnt be like herself and be normal cuz the only reason she has powers is because her mother did a good deed and helped there father if they did that it would be a whole mess up from the first movie
Okay so this is just a thought but what would have happened if Anna and Elsa's parents were like still alive in Frozen 2 and they made it off the boat and ended up lost in the woods somewhere and Anna found them if not Kristoff. But we make it as their parents had lost their memories
