SKYY LOVE, let’s support black clothing designers too...Pyer Moss, Hanifa, lemlem, just to name a few. If we can spend money on Gucci, Prada, Chanel, LV, etc. We can support our own and don’t have to worry about controversial ads, then a dry apology after they’ve been exposed.
Hi I am a Arab Muslim woman and me and my twin sister love y’all we have been watching you for 6 years and we support black lives matter. We’re all in this together.
I too am optimistic! My son called me to say exactly what Kendra said. “It is no accident that all of this is going on at the same time” Stay prayerful y’all. Thanks for sharing. We matter! Y’all matter! My son matters! Your family matters! Blacklivesmatter!
Marissa Patrick I googled black designers and came across a Vogue edition. Here are a few lemlem, Pyer Moss, Hanifa, Undra Celeste. They are a little pricey but I’m willing to invest and support
Thank you ladies for always presenting yourself in such an upstanding way. You are such a role model for women everywhere. Thank you for sharing your favorites as well!
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS! I thought this morning it would be great if The Glam Twinz did a video on black owned businesses!!!! I always take your recommendations to heart! Of course I did my own research but I couldn’t wait for this! Thank you! And it’s long 🥰🥰🤗 AHHHHHHH
The Briogeo mask is bomb! Especially if your trying to retain moisture and I never paid attention to the scent I was too busy trying to get my hair back healthy 😂
I was just watching you girls with my mom, talking about you all being hair goals. Thanks for sharing all of the information about black lives matter and the black owned products. I'm glad you decided to make some content because sometimes we all need some type of outlet from all of the stress that this world is going through. Also that's so awesome that you're donating to George Floyd's daughter...bonus for watching this content. This is awesome ladies!
So proud of you ladies. I love how you guys do things at your pace and timing. Very inspiring. I'm glad that you use your platform to bring about awareness. I'm from Kentucky (living in Texas) and very upset that Breonna Taylor's murderers haven't been brought to justice. It sickens me. I will definitely be active in donating to this cause. Thank you ladies for being so authentic and genuine.❤
I love coloured Raine and I have been building my collection. I only have one last palette to get and it's sold out. I got two of the mystery boxes last year and so I have a nice size lipstick collection from them just from purchasing the mystery boxes 🖤✊🏾 that's been my goal for the last few years. Putting my money into black owned businesses 💖
Kelsey that is literally me! I can’t watch, read or sometimes even listen to certain things because it really sticks with me. I’ve been losing so much sleep these past weeks with everything that is going on. It’s almost like it plays on a loop in my mind.
Thank you guys for this! Love the people with platforms who are not afraid of making such a bold statement. Simple message. Very straight to the point and tasteful! #BlackLivesMatter #supportblackownedbusiness ♥️♥️♥️
I just keep praying and keep hope that things in the us will change. I do feel like we (blacks) all over need to work on getting along with each other. I believe that people treat you the way you treat yourself. So if we all can treat and respect one another then people of other origins will treat us better. We are not objects, we are humans and there is just no other race/color that I would want to be. I love my brown skin. If I don't have an issue with my skin color then why should others. The real issue are people who are racist. Not having a reason to why you hate blacks is just pure ignorance
✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾needed this just take a break and take care of your mind especially with trauma ! Make sure everyone goes and vote in your local elections. I’ve tried the briogeo mask and it smells fresh lol and left my hair soft 😂
I will definitely be looking more into these brands. Walmart and TJmaxx carry some of these brands and is the best place for me to stock up on hair products at the best prices!
I feel you. I know that a change is gonna come. This was something that is a long time coming. I feel like people should already been supporting black business it should not have taken this.
Black owned businesses have been being supported by blacks. Do you think white people have been keeping their doors open up until now?? And who cares if more are just now wanting to start. A start is a start. Y’all always find a way to knock your people down. Damn.
Bless you both! I’m so happy you guys are using your platform to speak about this! I’m a mother to two black boys and I pray over my boys everyday. I’m terrified for them in this world so I pray a change is coming 🙏🏾
The Glam Twinz THANK YOU FOR THE POWER MESSAGE w/ BLACK LIVES & SUPPORT💯 ...God bless you both in 💚Kelsey👑 & 💜Kendra👑 you two balance🕊 each other so well ...SISTER😇SISTER LOVE IS EVERYTHING!😘
I love how y’all are contributing in your own way and staying safe!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I love the Maine Choice purple gel smells amazing and it defines super well!!
Great video ladies. I need to finally try that Briogeo Repair, Dont Despair mask. I always hear great things about it. And I agree Coloured Raine lipsticks are amazing. Y’all should try Cherry Blossom if you haven’t. It is the GOAT of red lipsticks for darker skin. Y’all put me on to that ElleVie body butter years ago and it is one of my faves. Girls Night Out is my favorite scent too. And her customer service is superb! Shani Darden is definitely one of the best skincare educators. She has quite a few celebrity clients. I have followed her for some time but have never tried any of her products. Thanks for these recommendations of products from black owned brands and for always using your platform for information and positivity. I have really been strengthening my relationship with God and he’s been building my faith during these unprecedented times. And I’m optimistic that change is coming even when things look grim. In the words of Martin Luther King, “Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase.” #BlackLivesMatter #BlackBrandsMatter
I am so glad to see you as influencers using your platform to speak on racial injustice and the state of the world now to your followers! I feel EXACTLY as you do! We have to keep this momentum going! My heart breaks for my son I’ve had a lot of sleepless nights and tear-filled days lately. Glad to see you putting the black-owned businesses out there.
first of all, I think you guys are great. very classy, professional, mannerable, and know you who you are. I have been watching your videos for quite some time and I have commented on several of your videos (on my other gmail acct.). On another sad note, I am from Houston, 3rd Ward, TX. I attended Jack Yates Sr. High School (JY). My son graduated from JY. My mom and my husband's parents graduated from JY in 1967. So when I tell you that this has hit home......it hit home. I have been crying for the last couple of days, like none stop. Where George Floyd (Big Floyd) is buried, my mom, my grandfather, my aunt, and my husband are buried in the same cemetery. My husband passed away in 2017. We were both 48 years old at the time of his passing. Big Floyd is buried in the same exact area where my husband is buried, alongside his mother. That made it even worse for me, as the passing of my husband is still very fresh. The pain I felt when he was calling for his mom when he was still alive, resonated with me because I'm still alive and I find myself calling for my mother. GOD could have chosen anybody to spark this worldwide protest, but HE chose George so that the world could finally see the brutality that white police officers have been committing against black people since forever. It would NOT have had the same effect if GOD would have chosen some ivy league, upper middle-class black man. But, what I do know that GOD is waking up his people. We are no longer under the 400-year curse/punishment as a people, and GOD is about to really show up and show out. It's ON!!! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make this post so long. We are in pain, here in H-Town!!!
And thank you guys for not being silent across your platforms (though I knew you wouldn’t). Don’t forget to continue to give yourself grace and to be gentle with yourself. You are loved and valued. Again, thank you!
I have to say it's so very rare to see identical twins that look so radically different from one another! It is actually amazing! Wishing both of you the very best that life has to offer! Deuces.. Peace and grace

Hello Ladies! I haven't seen you in quite a while. Its been pretty heavy the past few weeks on top of this pandemic. You both have given encouraging words on top of a great review. I am glad to see we have a few similar favorites in hair products (Curls, Uncle Funky's & Kinky Curley). I am new to Camille Rose and Mielle and look forward to using them for the first time. I have been so curious about all these wonderful black owned brands, I have turned into a product junkie! I have to check out your make up and body care recommendations tool 🥰
My daughter also spoke of a haviness Please about all this stuff going on. Pray for unity among us.
So refreshing to see y’all are back . This period of time has had me on an emotional roller coaster so I understand needing to take a break and tuning into what’s going on. It's been extremely difficult , I think, for everyone everywhere. I actually posted something on my IG a few days ago talking about how 2020 was a year of clarity (I've felt that way for as long as I can remember). Obviously didn't expect it to be like this, but I still feel like there's relevance in my words. Hopefully this will bring clarity to how people should be treated, regardless of their skin color or preferences or privileges. 💜💚 We all deserve the liberty and justice to be who we are in this world
On a lighter note, I'm excited to learn about your recommendations. Y'all seldom steer me wrong with product recommendations!!
For whatever reason this video in particular had so many products that I want to check out, that I had to download the video for easy access while shopping later. Thanks ladies. Love you guys💚💚.
Briogeo don't despair mask is the bomb...

Hey! I would love to send you ladies some products from my natural skincare line ✌🏿
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these relevant matters.
Catching up today - I/we appreciate you ladies! I’ve tried a couple of them in the past when you’re learning what’s best.
I'm confused there are no ads for this video for me....... I wanted to watch this video start to finish because of the ad sense donation.
Thanks beautiful ladies ✊🏾
I know you ladies mention some of these products here and there in your other beauty videos, however I"M SO GLAD that you have a video SOLELY focused on Black products. In the past I've felt that you all neglected intentionally highlighting Black owned businesses and typically direct us to more/majority corporate white brands that don't help our communities. Hoping to see more Black owned product videos from you all. Thanks ladies!
Thank you ladies 🖤🖤
I love this video! It gave me so many new options for my natural hair. Thank you for always making amazing content. ❤️
