I had a 1990's era negative scanner that I had a much harder time trying to get to work reliably for me, but I've been thinking lately of getting a negative scanner to try to archive all my old black and white negatives from my old darkroom days. Maybe I need to talk to you a little about your research. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks Erik! We will have to talk. One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that the infrared scan to fix dust and scratches automatically unfortunately doesn't work with black and white negatives because the silver halide in black and white film reflects infra red light.

Using silicone gloves is the trick.
