Albert Vasquez apparently beer experts say that’s how you should pour a beer. It lets some of the carbonation escape and releases more flavor. I honestly don’t care how I get my beer poured though haha

Agreed! Was shocked at how refreshing and smooth it was the first time I had one. Tecate is so underrated in the Mexican beer industry. Modelo, Corona, and Dos Equis get all the glory but none of them are as crisp and refreshing as Tecate.
Amber Dos XX's on tap is the BEST. Corona Familiar is good. So is the lighter version of Modelo. Tecate is what you buy when you don't have too much money but still better than any American gas station beer
I don't need to read any comments to know that a bunch of people are saying that drinking the dos Equis via shotgun and drinking the Modelo especial poured in a glass (at an angle that is not suggested by the beer drinkers association of American & Europe and all the snooty poo poos) to a glass can change the flavor profile, button all seriousness the amount it changes is insignificant enough that no matter how you drink the beer the overall flavor is what matters. TL:DR The only reason Corona is served with lime is because in warm climate country's mosquitos or fleas will fly down to the lip of the bottle an lay eggs on it, attracted by the alcohol sent, and the lime sent drives then away, that is why the lime Corona kinda make a pair, personally i like it chilled. Salt in beer will cause heart problems on the long run.
There is a reason why you drink crap beer like Budweiser, Coors, Corona and others cold. Read "The Effect of Cooling on the Vibrotactile Sensitivity of the Tongue " by Barry Green. It's a similar reason to why airplane food (back when you could get a meal) at 35,000 feet tastes terrible. Ice that baby down! I hope you didn't do this in one sitting. Missing from your list: Leon, Carta Blanca, Pacifico (take a swig then add soy sauce, Clamato, lime, pepper, salt), and my favorites Indio and Victoria. There’s also a nice Christmas seasonal called Noche Buena. If you’re hard core, drink from a 32 oz caguama (turtle) bottle.
The lime is just to mask the "skunky" smell/taste of beers bottled in clear glass without the proper care to avoid light exposure. I can't say I mind Corona if its cold on a super hot day, as long as it was stored properly, but the price just isn't worth it even with those caveats
AS long as corona is last that's fine, it's like drinking natty light. The others on your list are questionable. Next time bring in Bohemia considered to be the best beer in Mexico ,xx amber,estrellita,pacifico,tecate light,indio,corona familiar and I could go on.

Good review. I feel Tecate and dos XX's leave a fairly long after taste so I prefer Modelo as it is fairly flavorful but the finish is very clean.
