Backpacking in John Muir Wilderness! | Duck Pass to Pika Lake in Mammoth Lakes, CA

As the weather cools and the summer crowds slow down, the areas we know and love in the Eastern Sierras are still just as good for backpacking, if not better than the busy summer months! We hiked out to Pika Lake via Duck Pass and passed many other beautiful lakes along the way and enjoyed amazing sunsets, backpacking meals, and a very high energy pup!
