as a closeted person surrounded by homophobia, this song feels like a warm hug and a reassurance that i’m not alone in this. even in general, for an artist who may or may not be closeted himself, louis has done an unparalleled job of writing songs that so much of the community can relate to, ever since the 1d days- strong, alive, ready to run, end of the day, home, just like you, otb and now copy. he’s been my comfort person for very long for that reason alone- because it feels like he accepts me for who i am when i feel like no one else does.

Exactly. I was closeted for a couple of years after I figured out I am pansexual, and I truly felt alone. I know that there are so many people who have been through infinitely worse than me, because I am very fortunate to have an accepting family, but I was still so terrified to come out to anyone.

I'm a recent fan of Louis, and I am blown away. I love his voice, because you feel every word he says, and honestly I don't know how he does that. It's pronunced so beautiful in my ears that I always want to know how is he going to say the next word. It's always full of emotions, which is very rare and amusing!
But his voice and this song? Damn he's not only talented in his voice, he does that writing songs too. Copy of a copy of a copy it's a cocktail of a thousand emotions, and every instrument is placed very beautifully, it's an inspirational song that feels like an anthem. This song is already a legend to me, because it shakes me to the core. I hope that if he releases the song, it'll be exactly like this version, because it's perfect. My favorite song by Louis, very thankful that this exists. Thank you very much for making wonderful music!
